Overall, a very nice place to stay for a reasonable price near Joshua Tree NP! The outdoor space was awesome & the beds were comfy. The only downfall was the A/C, as it took forever for the place to cool down to be comfortable in. Would stay again if back in the future!

Very nice property close to restaurants, shopping and the National Park. Beautiful outdoor area with a nice view. Had every thing we needed for a 4-day stay. Home was clean, spacious and had comfortable beds. Only a few minor issues with some of the appliances but overall a great stay. Will probably book for my next trip to Joshua Tree.

The place was roomy, clean, comfortable and otherwise as advertised. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they were truly responsive. I would recommend this stray to anyone planning a trip.

Great spot!

We had a great time, house was as advertised, property manager very responsive, loved the hot tub, pool table and arcade game. And super close to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.

The house is in a good location. It was a short walk to restaurants and coffee shops and the west entrance to Joshua Tree park with ~10 min away. The backyard space was very lovely and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and swings. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. The carpets in the bedrooms we very dirty, but we just kept our socks on. There were a few things that needed to be repaired (microwave handle, dents in walls, etc.), but this didn't slow us down. The kitchen was stocked w/enough pots and pans for us to cook breakfast and lunch. Also, there is a space in the garage to play ping-pong and pool. We couldn't play ping pong because the net was broken, but we improvised and still made use of the space.

Cosy clean house

The house has everything we needed for our trip. We enjoyed the hot tub at night, it took just minutes to get to Joshua Tree park. Great vacation home!

Beautiful property at Joshua Tree

My family and I visited Joshua Tree and stayed at Grants home. The home was just as advertised. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. We only wish that our stay had been longer!! Thank you Grant for being very quick with reply’s and opening up your home to vrbo guests like us.

New year 1st trip

As our 1st trip of the year we choose to visit Joshua Tree NP. Our stay was super pleasant as the hose was exactly as stated, we only wish we booked for 2days and enjoy the back yard and jacuzzi.

House was lovely. Clean and everything in its place. Backyard was lovely and great size. Ease of access into the property and neighborhood was quiet and safe. Location was close to small eateries and shops.

I really wanted to enjoy this stay, but unfortunately it fell well short of expectations.The biggest issues were the cleanliness, the bugs, and the overall quality of the home. There was a thick layer of dust above the kitchen cabinets, and we found both dead and live bugs throughout the house, including cockroaches and earwigs.When we arrived, the home was extremely warm and took over 3 hours to cool down. The “smart” refrigerator was more of a hassle than a convenience and never produced ice.The amount of rules also made the stay much less enjoyable. I understand wanting to protect your property, but having house rules posted on the wall when you walk in, along with a 10-page PDF of rules before arrival, felt excessive and took away from the vacation experience.While cleaning before checkout, we opened the kitchen window normally and the single-pane glass unexpectedly shattered. It appeared the glass may have already had a crack or weakness, but we’ll likely be charged for it.Overall, between the cleanliness issues, insects, questionable maintenance, and excessive rules, I wouldn’t choose to stay at this property again.

Spectacular Weekend Retreat!

A couple of my friends and I decided to get together to visit Joshua Tree National Park and stargaze. We across Grant's property and instantly knew that was the one! Super close to the park and very modern looking! Had a terrific weekend and would definitely come back to visit again and spend the weekend at Grant's.

We take guest feedback seriously and strive to ensure everything is in perfect working order for every arrival.Our professional cleaning team thoroughly inspects and verifies the property after each departure, including checking the BBQ and fireplace propane levels, with time-stamped and geo-tagged photos confirming full tanks and full functionality prior to your check-in.You messaged us just a few hours after arrival mentioning issues, but unfortunately, we received no response to our follow-up requests for more details so we could address anything promptly during your stay. (It appears this guest may be a bit of a nitpicker, as no prior guests have reported similar concerns.)We've since double-checked everything post-departure, and all amenities, including the propane for the BBQ and fireplace, are confirmed to be in excellent condition.We hope future guests enjoy the home as much as most do—please see our many positive reviews for a balanced view.
