Lands End

We enjoyed our stay at Lands End. Our unit was very close to the pool and beach which was very convenient.

Not bad overall experience!

Decent condo in a great location. Very outdated. Patio needs a thorough cleaning or at least a blower to clean it off. Owners need to put some $$$ back into their condo. All original with the only exception being new laminate flooring in bedroom/ living room. Even kitchen items, pans, utensils are beyond aged.

Lands end

Very nice place. Property is great. Pool nice. Location on the gulf cannot be better. Only issue is the pull out couch is horrible. Cannot sleep on that Mattress. Floor was more comfortable. Would highly recommend the condo except for the pullout mattress. Needs to be replaced if you think you will need it.

Do Not Rent This Condo bldg 1, #204

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was very outdated. Black mold under bathtub faucet handle and inside the shower head. Also black around kitchen floor boards.

Vacation at Lands End

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited the Land's End second time. This is a really great place. Nice pool, 5 minutes to the white sand beach. Very friendly staff. A quiet place to relax with kids. About sad: The kitchen is very old, many cabinets are broken. Plates, knives, forks and spoons didn't look very good. You need to buy disposable tableware, paper towels, salt, pepper, sugar, etc. Only one small frying pan. This all adds to the inconvenience.

Not ready

Condo was not ready . No shower curtain no working bathroom sink blinds broke no coffee maker . Kitchen drawers were broke . Pull out sofa was broke stained and uncomfortable. Floor was sticky . No garbage bags soap or samples . I stay on lands end a lot never agsin from resort rentals

Hello Deanna! Thanks for taking the time to review your recent stay at beautiful Lands End in Treasure Island. We truly apologize that things were not in proper order as they should have been upon your arrival. We wished you had contacted our office about these issues. We would have sent our cleaners back out right away. It's standard that we leave a starter pack of soap and garbage bags. A coffee maker is an essential in all of our condos and, of course, the shower has a shower curtain. As you can see by the average of 4.2 star reviews, this is not a normal occurrence. We addressed this with our staff. Again, we apologize and wished we could have addressed this while you were staying at Lands End.

Love Land's End

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third visit to Land's End. Having stayed in a condo on the "gulf side" directly facing the pool, I have to say that we enjoyed that much more from a location point of view than our recent visit. Our condo was on the opposite side of the building near the complex entrance and directly across from the street turn around and parking lot. I should have investigated this more before I made the reservation and take full responsibility for that.We did leave comments with the Resort Rentals office for some small inconveniences we experienced with the condo unit during our stay. Our perception was that this unit was regularly rented and starting to show its age in terms of bathroom, kitchen, etc. The new flooring was nice. Having said that, we did enjoy our stay from a relaxation point of view. We really enjoyed the location of Land's End, the proximity to the beach which we walked every day, the heated pool and jacuzzi. The weather was normal for late January but we would probably choose a later date in future (I waited too late to make the reservation and there was not much choice for this location - again my fault). Overall we enjoyed our stay

Holiday Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been renting at Land's End for many years. We appreciate the owners that rent their units. This unit could use some love. The smell when we opened the door was overwhelming, not that the unit was dirty, but the furniture was old and obviously has seen a lot use. I febreezed, used dryer sheets in the furniture, and finally had to buy candles to mask the smell. The kitchen drawers basically fell out if you pulled them out to far, spend 50.00 and buy some decent silverware, eating with 4 salad forks is not fun.Never used the dishwasher, because the dishes had such a bad film that I couldn't clean. I understand that Resort Rentals can only make suggestions to the owners, this unit needs some help. Land's End was wonderful as always.

Business Trip and Beach Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is located on a wonderful property. It rates 4-1/2 stars for our stay. Easy access to a pool and a relaxing and great walking beach with incredible sunset views. Short drive to stores. The kitchen is functional and well stocked. The interior of the kitchen sink cabinet could use reconditioning due to prior water damage. Furnishings are well maintained. The condo's balcony overlooks a small public parking area adjacent to the bay side that was popular with dog walkers and fishermen during our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of condo is great, nice and quiet beach. The condo is generally clean on the surface, but need deeper cleaning and better maintenance. The resort rental front desk staff is very friendly. Here I list a few thing to notice. But none of them are truly a deal breaker. 1. Bring your own dish liquid and dishwasher detergent, paper towel and toilet paper if you prefer. The paper good they provided is of the worst quality you can imagine. 2. The kitchen cabinets and drawers is likely to fall apart in the next seconds. More attention is needed. 3. Dishwasher was not working properly. There were times that after the entire washing cycle finished, the detergent door remained closed, or the door opened with the detergent pod stayed untouched. (I use the same pods at home and never had any problem.) Every time the dishes and all other stuff still smelled like greasy food instead of refreshing detergent scent. I believe somewhere in the dishwasher was clogged. 4. The interior of the transparent show knob was filled with mold. 5. Both washer and dryer needed deep clean. The lint filter had holes in multiple spots and the back of the dry was filled with lint. 6. The did provide several trash bags for each individual trash can. 7. I would really appreciate if better quality bedding was provided. The sheet was very thin and rough and shallow pocket, and only had elastics on the corners, so it barely stayed in place. The towels were not soft and shed a ton in the dryer.

Building 1, condo 204 review

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We originally booked a gulf side condo from Resort Realty. They called a week before our stay and said it had damage and needed to change our room-to upgrade and pay another $800 or go bay side. We didn't want to spend more money so we had to go with the one they had. It was awful, so old and outdated. Gross bedding, my daughter called it a nursing home. Meanwhile, there were guests staying in our original one we booked. I will never do business with Resort Realty again, no compensation or even valid explanation.

Lands End Complex is beautiful!

The furniture is old, musty smelling, and very uncomfortable!!! The kitchen is so outdated! The drawer fronts fall off when you open them! BUT, the condo was very clean!! Loved having washer/dryer in unit!! The bedding is old and not nice! Ended up buying our own bedding to use! But we loved our vacation!!! Resort Rentals employees are so nice and again, the complex was very very nice!! Will stay again!!

We have 2 different categories of condos in our program, standard and premier. This condo that you stayed in falls into our standard category. In a premier unit you will find recent updates throughout to include updated kitchen and bathrooms, newer flooring, furnishings, appliances and flat screen TV's. Great Place to Rest and Relax

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location; it overlooks the canal and a parking lot which has many dog walkers and fishermen but we didn't mind. We saw dolphins in the canal and I fish so it was a win win!The issue I have and why the low stars for general condition is we got there late and we stopped for coffee and paper towels and such but the place didn't even have coffee filters! So; you buy 500 coffee filters and you stay 7 - 14 days and you throw them out? No salt and pepper. No one uses salt and pepper up in 7-14 days. And no other spices? Really? So when we left we threw everything out. All the spices we bought, paper towels, TP, paper plates, coffee filters, bottled water, sodas; you get it; everything. We have stayed at other places and when you get there, there are at least some amenities/condiments. My only thought here is the maids are taking everything down to the coffee filters. I thought maybe the owners were afraid of liability but most of this stuff would be packaged or you would be able to see tampering. Also furniture pretty rough; no comfy sofa here! Other than that the place was clean and the sunsets from the beach were awesome!

Thank you for your feedback. We love to hear that you enjoyed the location and the sights you saw from this condo! We are sorry you did not find more condiments and other items in the condo. That is something that is left by the individual owners; our housekeeping is not taking those items from the condo. Many guests that buy those items for their use may in fact take them back home with them as well so there are a few different scenarios that could come into play with this. On our website we do have a helpful link that states what we leave for a “starter supply” in each condo and that perhaps could be useful to you. We do apologize though for any inconvenience it may have created for you. Outside of that, we are again glad to hear you enjoyed your vacation time and we hope to have you back for another visit in the future!! :-)

We do apologize that some of the boardwalk was closed during your stay, this was just due to the construction work that is taking place on the grounds and it will not be permanent. Vacation at Lands End

The one bedroom unit was very spacious for the 2 of us and we enjoyed having morning coffee on the balcony and watching dolphins swim by. The pool is large and heated and we swam every day. There is lots of seating around the pool and we always found a spot to sit. We walked the beautiful beach every day and enjoyed the sunsets over the water. The property is very quiet in the evening. The property grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are lots of restaurants close by and grocery store also. We will definitely be back.

Reviewer Comments: Perfectly sized for a couple, efficient booking, apartment 'skin' clean, however kitchen very dated showing its age and not clean at the floor to unit meeting point. Kitchen however was well equipped. Complex very well looked after, fantastic pool if you stick to the rules, no reason why you should not. Complex a bit away from the mainstream resort so quiet and transport is required to get around.

Thanks for the post, we appreciate you taking the time on this! We have a category of condos in our program that carry a "premier" designation that will carry recent updates to the kitchen, bathrooms, they will have newer furnishings and flooring, etc.. Should you want something a bit more updated for your next visit, a premier unit could be a nice option for you and we have several at the Land's End community. :-)

Great location for those who just want to relax

The beach is only a few steps away. The staff and other semi-permanent residents are so nice.
