We stayed at the Journey Home with 18 family members ranging in ages from 8 months to 85 years. The property was clean and spacious with many locations both indoors and out to gather. The kitchen was spacious, allowing multiple people to work at the same time. It was also well equipped with 3 different coffee pots, cooking and serving supplies, and a carousel with herbs and spices. The 23 beds were adequate, though not the best mattresses. We were able to put beds together to create king beds for 3 couples. We used the outdoor firepit to make s'mores which was fun. The showers each had a wallsoap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser. The screened porch with ceiling fan also got lots of use. We all enjoyed watching the fireflies each evening. Some of the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced, but they had about 16 folding chairs that we were able to put to good use. We brought lots of outdoor games for the kids, including badminton, ladder ball, a splash pad, bubbles, frisbees, and pinwheels. We would definitely stay here again!
