This guest house sits on a five acre property on a hill near Tangerine Road & First Avenue in Oro Valley. No neighbors, great views, and privacy but within two miles of the best shops and restaurants in town. We're also in the safest location in the city.

You have your own parking space, high-speed internet, cable TV + smart TV apps (Netflix, HBO, etc), a full bath, laundry room, extremely comfortable queen bed, full kitchen, and outdoor space with BBQ grill, fire pit and picnic table.

Sanctuary on the edge of chaos.

Nice and nestled. Close enough to all of anyone’s entertainment and shopping needs. While at the property it is pure peace and nature.

Casita with great views!

Simple casita, minimal provisions (ie pans, plates, cups, glasses). We were warm & dry and loved the location. Perfect for a no-frills stay.

Beautiful Property

We had a nice, quite time staying here and loved the area. The property is very lovely! Catalina State park is near by and great for hiking. Our dog was very relaxed and enjoyed the openness.

We love the property and the location

All the comforts of home. We made a reservation for next year. Bike trail runs right by the property and a strip mall in walking distance.

Lovely Casita

This casita is just lovely and the location and view cannot be beat. Quick trip to the Catalina State Park’s hiking trails and any store you could wish. Owner is a joy to interface with!

Nice, clean and very comfortable place to stay.

My wife, Karen, and I enjoyed our two week stay here in Oro Valley. Wonderful Mountain View’s and the nighttime Tucson city lights in the distance made our visit a most relaxing time. Virgil bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable and met all of our expectations. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Getaway at a lovely Casita.

Enjoyed the property. Amenities are good and the bed is comfortable. Appreciated having a washer/dryer available. Close to shopping, restaurants and hiking, biking trails. Owners were friendly and responsive when I needed paper goods and dish soap.

Perfect for short stays!

This is an adorable little Casita located in a beautiful area with breathtaking views. We were allowed to have our pets stay with us which meant the world to us! The picture of the outside of the Casita needs to be updated as the grounds are lush with native plants, not sand as the picture shows! It was a little difficult to find arriving in the pitch blackness of night, but the host was very kind when we called him at 10:00pm!

Very private and wonderful views.

Enjoyed our stay. Limited amenities, but priced accordingly. Owner was very helpful and worked hard to let us have a nice stay. Some issues that the owner is addressing. A very great location and view of the mountains. Might consider staying again in the future.

Quiet, pristine, relaxing.

Great little home nestled in a quiet part of Oro valley. Perfect for a mini getaway, or an extended stay in the northern tucson area. Unit was sparkling clean, and the owner is communicative, honest, and cooperative. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Gorgeous view, good value.

We stayed last year, and returned again. This is a guest house behind the main house on several acres with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Until another guest house was built last year across the yard there were no obvious signs of civilization from the porch, but a couple strip malls are just a few blocks away.

Nice property for us and our dog

The house was a good size for my husband and I as well as our 45# dog. The yard made taking care of the dog much easier as she could be off of the leash. The view from the backyard is quite nice and sitting on the front porch in the morning was very pleasant.

Virgil had great hospitality! He bought me a cat litter box and litter since I arrived late with my cat! I really appreciated that so much! Thank you for everything!😊 I highly recommend this guest house to anyone wanting a worry free and relaxing get away!

Shower drain extremely slow. Little gecko ran across the bed. No A.C. on when we arrived 107 outside, inside not much cooler. Needs Some updating, Urine smell in the bedroom.(Pet)? Door to house not sealed bug entry.

Charged for something we didn't do.

There's no dishes. Hardly any towels. Issue with black widows and we got charged for damage we didn't do. But they've clearly had a problem because there are patches all over the wall where the recliner is. Won't stay here again.

Nice Stay in Oro Valley

Nice comfortable place with all the essentials. This is a small guest house that was perfect for my husband and me and our dog for a 4-night stay. Everything was in good working order, a little bit of everything as far as kitchen and bathroom essential needs, comfortable bed, quiet area. All kinds of shopping nearby and a nice park (Naranja) with a good off-leash dog park. My only (minor) complaint was having to back out of the 250 foot long gravel driveway as the only place to turn around was mostly occupied with another vehicle. This wasn’t so much of an issue during the day but at night or early morning it could be a bit dicey.

Excellent internet connection

I expected a quiet neighborhood for dog walks and I got that, but internet speed is not something that ordinarily matters to me because I do little streaming. However, I needed to do multiple uploads of a 2.3 Gb video file that I was editing during my stay and I was amazed to discover that it was both possible and relatively fast. I could not have done this via my connection at home.

Yard is not secure

I would have rated our stay higher but I specifically asked the owner prior to renting if the yard was secure (meaning gated) so that my dog could be without a leash and I was told it was but that wasn’t the case. The actual casita is very dated and in need of some care and updates but it was expected for the price.
