Inspired by Lake Michigan beach cottages, SummerHouse comes stylishly furnished, fully accessorized, and complete with full kitchen and washer & dryer. It has everything you need to call it home. For those valuing comfort, convenience, and privacy you are going to enjoy this ideal hotel alternative. Note, the photos are of a model apartment. Actual styling may vary unit to unit.

SummerHouse is located on the east side of Bloomington off E. 3rd St. It's just 1 mile to dining and shopping, 2 miles to Indiana University, and 3.5 miles to downtown. It's close to it all, yet removed enough to feel like an escape. In addition, staying on the east side means you will have closer access to Monroe Lake and Nashville, IN. Located adjacent to an established, tree lined neighborhood and public park, begin your morning with a peaceful neighborhood stroll or get your heart pumping with a game of tennis or basketball. Need supplies? No worries. Target and Indiana's largest Kroger are located just down the road.

Great stay

We stayed for an Indiana college visit. Location was convenient (about 8 mins from campus) and the apartment was very nice and well maintained.

Clean property, convenient to campus

This property was exactly as advertised. It was extremely clean and perfect for the graduation festivities we were in town for. Check-in/Check-out were a breeze and it was in a very quiet area. All told, it was a perfect answer for our needs through this weekend.

This is our new stay preference over our usual Marriott hotels while in Bloomington! The room was clean, well stocked with everything that is needed, bed was very clean and super comfortable, shower was large the washer and dryer worked great! There were a couple very minor negatives but nothing to complain about just a point of reference for people to be aware of 1. No toaster2. Ice maker in fridge not working or functional3. Not enough clothes hangers4. Water pressure in shower sucksBut the positive far far out way the negativeThe staff was super responsive I'm actually hoping this place will be available when we need it next time because this place is far far far better than any hotel in BloomingtonIf this was a hotel it would be sold out oftenThis isn't a place to consider it's a place to stay! My sincere appreciation to the staff and management for keeping such a great place
