STAY AWAY! Property is not in a good part of town. There was dried fluid on one of the comforters. All sheets were clearly not changed. Lots of dirt in the bedding. There were also black specks even under the sheets. We weren't sure if it was dirt or bed bugs. There were cobwebs in the kitchen. Food or feces smeared on the wall. We didn't stay and the host stopped responding. Also, Vrbo was unable to provide a refund because it had to come from the host who refused to provide a refund.

My first impression after viewing online was it was a clean, pristine place to stay. We arrived & the cleaning lady was still cleaning & didn’t leave until about 40 minutes after our check in time. The first impression was the back yard, which was not mowed or kept up, fire pit was rusted out & there was no propane in the grill. The back porch & door were filthy. The power line was resting ON the roof. The front porch was dusty/dirty & we did not want to sit out front & definitely not out back. It was not welcoming. The house needs a deep clean inside & outside. Paid $100 cleaning fee but there were cobwebs & the kitchen had food splattered on the wall & the trashcan still had garbage on the lid from the previous guests, coffee grounds left in the coffee maker, fridge still had food scraps in drawers. Kitchen light had a burnt out bulb which made it dark when cooking. One of the two kitchen stools were broken. The futon was wet, we presume where the cleaning lady had cleaned it but dingy. There was not room for 8 people to sit in living room & honestly, it wasn’t very “comfy”…..no relaxing movie night. A light & fan in the queen bedroom didn’t work. We did let the host know, & we were not made aware a maintenance man would be coming by to look at the lights & stool (unannounced). He subsequently did not fix any of the items as we were leaving the next day. Both bathrooms were beautiful but not deeply cleaned & no tub stopper to use tub. Would have appreciated xtra towels.
