We have been coming to the Coachella Valley in March for many years, and our expectations are always high. This is the first time we’ve stayed at Allene’s house, and we weren’t disappointed. Every morning for the past month, I sat next to the pool on the back patio with my breakfast and watched the rising sun light up the mountains and listened to the birds greet the day with song and chatter. Located in La Quinta Cove, the house is a short walk from fabulous hiking in the Santa Rosa Wilderness, a short drive from great restaurants and world-class bakeries, and ten minutes from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. We came to the Coachella Valley for the tennis tournament, the performing arts, and to walk in the desert and bathe in the sunshine. Allene’s spacious, comfortable house in La Qiuinta was a perfect home-away-from-home, and Allene was the perfect host. See you next year! David and Sherrie
