Other Things to Note:

We do have some beautiful large Elm Trees that shade our building; however, from July 1st to October 31st, this does increase the chances that Elm seed bugs may make an appearance in the unit. They are small and harmless, like a ladybug, do not bite, and are not considered a health risk. They generally will keep to the window sills. We do spray the building periodically to keep their presence to a very small minimum, but if you see a couple that may have made it inside during this season, please let us know, and we're happy to assist!

Clean cozy two bedroom place. Great downtown spot that we were able to get everywhere to and from. Happy to have stayed here. Great stay and experience in the city.

I appreciated the quiet street and downtown was in easy walking distance as was a grocery store.I would have liked to have had more resources in the kitchen (most of the spice jars were empty) and a bath mat is needed in the bottom of the shower. Otherwise no complaints at all. What I appreciated most was the promptness of the host when I had questions. Considerate and very helpful.

great responsiveness from host. Had a flight get cancelled and they rebated the night we could not make. Did not have towel out for guests, but had them promptly delivered.

Overall, it was great value and awesome location to the downtown area. It should be advertised that the property is a multi-apartment complex. The owner is polite and friendly, but did not respond to some of our questions. If you are looking for great value and stellar location..this is your place!

Great location near downtown. Very easy in and out. Had problem with lock but host communicated and resolved promptly. Everything was great except our feet turned black when we walked barefoot on the floor for some reason.

Had a great stay here! It’s sort of part of an apartment complex. The area around is super pretty, and close to downtown and the Capitol. The place itself is super clean and aesthetic. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location

Listing is located in the marmalade district which is a great area to stay. The parking was great because you have your own parking stall. We were traveling with two toddlers. The walls were thin (could hear the neighbors a little bit, and our kids noticed every little sound at bed time). The space was pretty toddler proof from the beginning - not a lot of random decor items for them to mess with. The king sized bed was VERY firm so that’s something to take into account when staying there.

Very nice for moderate price

Nicely renovated place in old apartment building in pretty neighborhood. Designated parking spot was helpful. Host kindly allowed a little early check-in once completion of cleaning after prior guest verified. Comfy beds in 2 bedrooms. Good to have extra sleeping spot with sofa bed. Mattress typical of a sofa bed. Kitchen spacious and complete. We enjoyed and would stay again.

Very difficult to communicate, sometimes taking over three days to get a response. Front door doesn’t work properly. The tenant living above the unit was complaining about bedbugs, and sure enough we ended up bringing them home with us.

We rented your apartment this past weekend (September 26-28) and although it had everything we were looking for in terms of space there were a couple of things that we felt should be noted in our feedback. We are leaving this privately as we understand the weight that negative feedback can bring to an otherwise solid rental. The first and most important issue was the very dominating scent of the cleaning product that was used. The heavy fragrance was impossible to ignore when we arrived. It was so pungent that the windows needed to be opened to help air it out. Sadly that didn’t seem to diminish the overwhelming fragrance. Each evening it was necessary to open all the windows in an attempt to help make the space tolerable. The lack of screens in the bathroom and the bedroom to the right of the bathroom when airing out the space was a necessity but made us feel ill at ease about leaving them open for very long even though it was necessary to move the air across the space. Fragrance sensitivity is common and I would not feel comfortable recommending your place based on this issue. The other and very minor issues were the linens. We only had one wash cloth when there were two of us and we could have used another dish towel since we rented your place based on our need of a proper kitchen. Other than that the place was clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. I hope you will consider addressing the issue of the cleaning product being used.

No communication whatsoever

Beware. First of all, this is an apartment in an apartment complex which is not made clear in the listing. I wasnt going to worry about that until we walked in to beer bottles and cans everywhere, wet towels on the floor, beds clearly slept in. Again, not going to worry, i just reached out to the host to see if the apartment could be cleaned. No response for ober 2 hours. Called the number provided and its not even the right number. Reached out to VRBO and they were no help. Ended up having to book 2 hotel rooms at the last minute.. do not book this house unless you want to be scrambling and overpaying for somewhere to stay at the last minute.. i was trying to be understanding but to not respond to your renters for over 2 hours when they are messaging with a large issue is insane.
