The home was comfortable, had all of the key components to cook at home and relax in front of the tv. The skiing was not great because of low snow, but they had sleds available and the kids loved sliding down the hill adjacent. We preferred that hill to sled on than pyramid hill in town. The main bathroom was so pretty with the tiles, with great water pressure and hot water availability.

Crested Butte Ski-in/ Ski-out

Location was great. Check-in process was easy. Plenty of room. Kitchen appliances were a bit old. My biggest complaint was the sheets in the room with 2 double beds. Sheets had stains on them. The other room with king was fine.

All of the things you could want in the unit (utensils, games books, etc.) although it was very dark I will say (not great lighting).The distance to the resort is really hard to beat, and I appreciated the dog friendliness. The only amenity we were disappointed in was the hot tub - smaller than we anticipated and it didn’t look like it was serviced that often.

Everything we needed

Loved the location and view. Perfect for our family of 5. We stayed here last March for spring break and hope to return. We had the best time. Very clean and had everything we needed. Nice place for the price. Note, there is no elevator soy not be good for someone who doesn’t do well with stairs. It was great to step out and be able to ski right down to the lift.

The condo was perfect for two couples plus dogs. Well maintained and furnished with everything we needed for a week long stay.

Great location, clean and great condition

Excellent location to ski in/out. We had a great time with the access and clean condition of the property. The beds & pillows were VERY soft after a long day of skiing to leave the sleeping itself a little lacking, but overall the condition of the condo made it for a comfortable stay.

Ski in and out

It was truly ski in and out. In our case the slope was closed due to a race course if not for that we could has skied to within 25 yards of the door.

Lovely home away from home

The wonderful view from the front porch of this beautiful condo is perfect for morning coffee and evening beverages. This vacation rental has everything you need to feel right at home. A well-supplied kitchen and comfy, spacious living area let you settle right in. It's right on the slopes for ski-in ski-out convenience, and easy access to hiking trails in the warm weather months. walking distance from the amenities of Mt. Crested Butte, and just a short drive to downtown. This rental is NOT appropriate for someone with restricted mobility, as it requires climbing two+ flights of stairs from the parking lot. The stairs were rough on our doggie's paws, but we found a path from the west end of the parking lot to avoid them.

Starting every morning, we could ski down to the lifts. At the end of the day, we had to walk up a small hill about 20 yards. Free Fire Wood. Free Hot Tub. Free Sauna. Free on-demand shuttle service courtesy of San Moritz.Pros:Enough room for 5 adults.Internet was fast enough to play xbox on.Could Ski down to lifts easy.Full size kitchen.Hot Showers.Cons:Had to walk up small hill to get back to condo. (Experienced skier could ski right down to condo though).Whenever a neighboring condo would light a fire in the fireplace, a smoky odor would develop. (would not be good for persons with sensitive noses)

1st remote work/ski trip

3 young adults stayed for 10 days in January 2022. Ski vacation / remote work for us and had a great time. This place is literally steps from the west wall lift so the convenience for slope access is ideal if you’re like me and like to limit the logistics of getting on and off the hill. 1st time to Crested Butte and this place is a gem. Super locals/laid back vibe which is great comparatively to some of the other major Colorado resorts. The town itself is super charming, never felt crowded in town or on the slopes. The condo at San Moritz was actually nicer than I expected and the communication with staff was easy if I needed anything. Real fireplace in the condo which was great, you could go out back for as much firewood as you’d want which was included in the stay. Shared hot tub and sauna literally steps out the back door of the condo which was ideal after skiing. A spacious and comfortable place that fits the charm of this awesome mountain town. Thanks for the stay and hope to be back.

Crested Butte Ski Getaway

We had another excellent trip to Crested Butte and stay at San Moritz! This was our third annual trip and we’ll be back! There were also some nice updates to the unit since last year. The only oddity is the bathroom doors do not lock. But overall another very enjoyable trip!

Lovely place in wildflower heaven!

Condo was a pleasant home with great accessibility. It was extremely clean, well stocked and very comfortable. It was a great place to stay with our 14 year old corgi.

True ski-in ski-out property - we will be back

The condo was very clean and extremely convenient to the slopes. The entrance to the unit is on the front (facing the patio/walkway), and each bedroom and the living room have patio doors that open up to the covered patio/walkway, at the end of which is where you can put your skis on and ski down to the West Wall lift, and at the end of the day, ski back to that point (via BLACK-rated lower championship) and walk past just a few doors to the condo. The king bed was really comfortable (I thought it was perfect and my husband thought it was a bit soft - but he slept great on it). The kitchen was adequately appointed for preparing meals, and we even found some foil and plastic wrap that came in handy for leftovers. We didn't avail ourselves of the sauna or hot tub. Although dated, it was extremely clean and the location was ideal. There is an exterior closet where we could keep our skis and poles. The one surprise we had was that there are quite a few stairs from the parking lot (more than I expected), however, once you're in the condo, having the ski-in, ski-out ability with no stairs whatsoever was worth the initial effort of making several trips to the car and back upon check-in/check-out. This condo is located right next to the office, so check out was a breeze - we just dropped the keys in the box and headed down the stairs.
