The photos and description is quite misleading. It is truly barebones wth plywood furnishings and fold up chairs. We did lose the key the first evening, it may have been pickpocketed in a grocery store. However the apartment is not much more that a hostel room with no real privacy, minimal kitchen (just a gas range, no refrigerator). There was a very dirty communal kitchen space. The walls were glass windows into the hallway with semitransparent incomplete coverings so someone in the hall could see right into the main space and bathroom. The neighborhood is very run down, dirty, with drunks sleeping on the sidewalks even before New Years festivities started.
The host was very helpful when we needed a replacement key. We only stayed one night due to the conditions and we paid for three nights. The owners did not have a master key so when we left the key in the apartment, they needed a locksmith to get in. I am sure our two nights of unused rental we paid would cover the locksmith charge.
