Fourth of July Getaway

We stayed during the Fourth of July weekend and were very happy with our experience. Despite being directly across from FishTales, the apartment was quiet. It was close enough in walking distance to everything we needed with four young children. Very happy with the stay and will most definitely book again!

Great place to stay bayside

Great experience staying here for summer Cruisin OC car show. Liked that it included 2 parking passes and great location close to the bay and boardwalk. Have stayed in this complex for years and will continue to do so.

The property was spacious, went with our teenage kids and friends and felt we had plenty of space. Within walking distance to many places so we were all busy!! Fun being by FishTales for the adults and kids took advantage of water sports. Great stay!

We stayed for Oceans Calling and could not have been more pleased with the condo. It had enough room for our family and was located near our favorite spots!

Needs some maintenance. Blinds are broken. Powder rrom ceiling light ssems to have an electrical problem as it does not always go on and when it does it turns itself off. Floors were not clean. All floors including throw rugs need to be washed, not just vacuumed. Not fit to walk on without shoes. But, besides these few things, great. Would book again. Hopefully, these issues would be resolved.

Great property… only one complaint and it’s no fault of the owners. The sign from Fish Tales was annoying, it blocked a potentially beautiful view of Baha Marina and the bay.

Great time

Booking, check in & check-out was so easy and convenient I loved it. Getting in touch with the owner for any questions and payments was also very easy and they were friendly. Love how attentive they were during our stay through text. Only negative was the sliding door to master bedroom wasn't working so we couldn't enjoy the deck through there and the jetted tub also wasn't working. The icemaker on the fridge was also not working and the dishwasher leaked. Loved how the kitchen had absolutely everything you needed and how the laundry room had beach chairs and umbrellas however those chairs need to be trashed as they do not work umbrellas are ok. Like I said a few negatives but it didn't ruin our stay we would book here again

Mariner’s Watch OC

Overall a nice stay. Condo was clean, very well stocked and very spacious. It was a very easy walk to the beach, right on a crosswalk. Many restaurants, stores, mini golf are all easy walks. Being across the street from Fish Tales was nice and interesting to watch. Seaside Vacations was great to work with. They even texted us that we could check in early that the condo was available. Very nice. A couple of issues- the pool was much smaller than depicted in pictures. Most backyard pools are bigger than this. We don’t use pool much- we are at the beach so it didn’t affect our stay. If a resort pool is important to you this may affect your stay. The other issue is environmental noise. You are next to Philadelphia Ave. and Fish Tales. On Wednesday and Friday night there was a lot of late night noise from Fish Tales, especially around closing. The traffic on Philadelphia Ave was loud and did disturb the sleep of our kids at times. Overall enjoyed the stay and would recommend property.

Fit our needs

We were in OC for my daughter pageant. We opted to stay here, rather than in the hotel. It was right across the street from the hotel where the pageant was being held so it worked out perfectly for us. Views of the bay are nice.

Unexpected

This rental is in a wonderful location and looked to be exactly what we were looking for. There were some glitches at the beginning of the trip. No parking pass had been emailed (as it said it would be), so after waiting 40 minutes for a reply from the property manager we came to find out they would be in the condo when we arrived. OK. When we arrived we had not been told the lock box with the building keys would be attached to the pool gate, so we were let in and went to the room. However, the electronic door lock code would not open our room. After several calls to the property manager our call was returned and we were given a new code and told where we could find the lock box. Finally, all was well or we thought. We entered the rental. CDC guidelines for cleaning the property were to be in place and check-in and check-out times had been specifically adjusted for this purpose. The first thing was that there were not pillows with protectors on them and most of the available pillows were filthy. One actually had blood on it. We rushed to Walmart with 10 minutes to spare before closing to buy 5 new pillows. When we returned we were ready to settle in for the week. Although we were phoned and told we could check in at 3:00pm, my daughter's bedspread was still damp at 9:00pm when we went to make the beds. I was going to put my hair dryer in a drawer in the bathroom, but it had clippings from a beard in it. The head board in the master bedroom was dusty and there was a large dust ball on the floor by the cupboard with the TV. The ventilation vent in the hallway was covered with dust and dirt. The next day when I went to wipe the counter off there was a gritty substance on the entire counter from the sink to the refrigerator. Appeared to be sand. Also, the welcome bag with starter items had a sticky residue on it. Reused for us maybe?After my kids had showered we noticed pink mold on the back and along the bottom of the shower curtain. When emptying the waste baskets upon departure the cans were dirty under the bags. We always check under beds before we leave to make sure nothing slid under there during the week. Found flip flops and small pillow that belonged to none of us. Also, found a bobby pin (not ours) on the floor that would have been very visible to anyone who might have been cleaning before we arrived. Needless to say not CDC cleaning. However, we did have a lovely week ( our first trip to Ocean City) and enjoyed our stay at Mariner's Watch
