Condo was fine, didn’t expect it to be so outdated. Shower and air conditioning in particular could have been upgraded many years ago. Rest of the grounds were nice. Good location.

Location is good

Love the location, right next to Hilton Hawaiian Village. It's a bit of a walk to the posh part of Waikiki (Royal Hawaiian Center) but the highlight of our day is actually the walk there in the morning and the walk back.

If you’re a family looking to make the dream of going to Hawaii a reality than this place is the best bang for your buck. The location is great and the parking next door at the ilikai marina is by far the best price in Waikiki. It’s not luxury but it’s clean and comfortable and gets the job done. As a family you will appreciate having a full kitchen and a living space for everyone to be comfortable. The view from the lanai is stellar and it’s so nice to have a table and multiple chairs out there. The building itself has lots of amenities like the pool, ice cream shop, coffee shop, beach rentals, restaurants, convenience store and clothing/souvenir stores. You can walk to the Hilton Hawaiian village next door which has everything else you’d want. I would happily stay here again!

Needs updating

First 3 days of the trip only 1-3 elevators worked creating long lines and waits. The suite was very dated. Cupboards were dirty inside, closet doors were broken, black mould throughout the bathroom, blinds were broken-half open half closed and could not be fixed. Keep in mind if you rent via VRBO, you don’t have access to the gym. The location was good and the lobby restaurant was good. Overall, for the price I would not stay there again.

Not what I expected

Upon arrival, the property was very hot. Throughout the stay the small window air conditioner was not enough to keep the property cool, especially as the afternoon sun beat down on the sliding glass doors. The property was old and marginally maintained. The owner asked that we remove our shoes while inside the property and the floors were so dirty our feet turned black. There were enough kitchen items but not much space to actually prepare anything or wash dishes; no dish washer. We did laundry and the machines charged my credit card $8 for wash and $10 for dry instead of the $3 per load price on the machine. We would not stay in this unit again!

オーシャンビュー最高

駐車場は、少し離れた立体駐車場なので不便でしたが、ロケーションはワイキキから少し離れたヒルトンの隣に位置し、目の前は、ヨットハーバー越しに海を一望できて、アラモアナビーチパークは散歩コースで 最高です。

L’appartement est vieillissant et mériterait d’être rénové : les rideaux ne sont pas occultants et se ferme difficilement , le mitigeur de la douche est cassé et dévisse, les meubles de la cuisine sont collants, la peinture s’effrite, le meuble de la salle de bain s’effrite également et la terrasse ainsi que le mobilier extérieur étaient sales (fiantes de pigeons ). Appartement Très petit pour une famille de 5 personnes. Les lits pour 2 personnes sont un peu juste La situation est parfaite !

Room was outdated with broken blinds and dresser. I love a dark room when vacationing and unfortunately this was not the case. Also, room did not have beach towels or a cooler as listed which made beach days a challenge. Overall stay was good - great location, stunning views of the beach, attentive staff when emailed.I would consider staying again.

Everything was good beside the TV, i would suggest to switch the exiting tv with a Smart tv, at least we can watch youtube and other apps, other then that everything was good

Convenient location. Quick response to any issue

We really appreciated the centralized convenient location. We had an issue with fridge not sealing easily and the manager resolved extremely quickly. The valet service was fantastic. Prices in on-site restaurants were reasonable given the location.

Eh...

Positives: Check-in was as easy as it gets. Negatives: Cleanliness was an issue for us. There was an open beer can in one of the cabinets. The previous renters likely did not do a good job cleaning the pots/pans as there was grease/oil on three of them stacked together. There was a marijuana butt on the patio (although it likely landed there from a unit above). And the floors seemed like they hadn’t been swept...we took off our shoes when we first arrived and felt like there was sand everywhere. The worst was one of the pillows smelled of sweat and BO. The property manager was very responsive, but I felt pretty dismissive of my concerns. They offered to bring a new pillow, which is the least they could do. Like most VRBO rentals, they should also take some time to wash the air vents. That is not unique to this place, but just a note. We have been to Hawaii five times and expect more.

Family Trip with young kiddos

We had a blast for a week in Waikiki with our 2 kids (age 3.5 and 8 mos). The condo was perfect for us - we appreciated the rolling doors to provide some separation after the kiddos went to bed. The location was perfect - a quick stroll out to the lagoon and calm (kid-friendly) ocean and about a mile walk or less to downtown Waikiki area. Our 3.5 year old also loved the shallow pool on floor 2 of the Ilikai which we also had access to. We had everything we needed in the apartment including a pack n' play which we were able to reserve through the rental company. The view was beautiful! The condo was clean and perfect for our stay. We definitely recommend - particularly for families. Thank you!
