Walking distance to historic district that has huge oak trees lit up at night like fairyland. Also, walking distance to the best seafood restaurant Dupruys. So so good. You won’t regret the crab cakes! House is older so settles at night. House is very comfortable with generous host who left coffee pods for our use! Such a sweet gesture.

Our host Marci was awesome and the cottage was adorable! The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing and convenient to great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this house was perfect. Very cozy and had everything we needed. It is an older house with old house quirks, but it is well kept.

It was a pleasure to stay in your cozy cottage. Your property is gorgeous! Your thoughtful placement of decor made us feel very welcomed. Sitting on your back deck was breath-taking overlooking your beautiful lawn. Having the carport to park our cars under allowed us not to park on the street. The privacy of two bedrooms/baths on opposite sides of the house worked out great for two couples. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful neighborhood.

Beautiful neighborhood with giant live oak trees. Home had everything that we needed plus close to downtown Abbeville and mass. AC works amazingly.

Great property. Staying again at thanksgiving. FYI - your neighbor in large yellow house mowed his yard and blew all the grass on your driveway.

Perfect

The Cozy Cottage really lives up to its name. It is perfectly decorated and very peaceful. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck overlooking the beautiful landscaped back yard. The location was perfect for us.

Another wonderful stay

Second time booking this property within a few months. We took another mother daughter get away. The home is in a good central location for our daily outings. This is a great little rental for anyone who is looking to visit Abbeville and the surrounding area. Beds are comfortable and we like having our own bathroom. We are already talking about visiting again and other sites to visit when in the area. Thanks again, we had a lovely stay.

Precious cottage

This was one of the most charming VRBO I have stayed in. Absolutely loved the house. Every amenity you need is available for you. We ended up extending our stay because of the coziness! The owner has great communication. We will definitely be back! Thank you Marci!

Wonderful stay in Abbeville

Perfect spot for a mother daughter get away! Home was as described and was close to everything. Even though it was hot out, we enjoyed the back deck every evening. It was perfect for relaxing after our outings. Beautiful backyard !! The home was very comfortable and we slept well. We liked the separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The area felt very safe. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

Charming, cozy house, in a great location. The property was well maintained and you feel more like being in the country rather than in town, especially in the mornings & the evenings. Looking forward to hopefully return soon one day.

Loved our stay at this beautiful home in this beautiful old town neighborhood. Came for Lafayette but fell in love with Abbeville. Ms. Marcie thought of everything, absolutely everything. Of all our VRBO stays, yours was the most accommodating. Fully stocked coffee bar, toiletries and every kitchen aide needed for cooking and dining. We even helped ourselves to the game drawer and learned a new card game the we enjoyed. The home and yard are very clean and tidy. Had a surprise visit from a loud screech owl on our last night stay that went from terrifying to being blessed by its presence. How lucky we were to experience that. Would love to stay again and would highly recommend.

Like Going To Grandma’s House

Very cute little cottage in a perfect location for us. Quiet neighborhood, with a private feel. Beautiful back garden area, and thoughtfully appointed kitchen. One television in the living room, none in the bedrooms—a plus for us. Would recommend, and return.

Excellent house right near the center of Abbeville

We stayed here for 2 nights with friends as a get away from New Orleans during Jazz Fest. It was a perfect spot -- lots of room, clean and well set up. The backyard deck is very nice in the spring, with birds overhead in the trees in the morning and evening. And the location is ideal -- very close to the center of town. We walked to dinner and enjoyed the great local restaurants, and then toured other nearby towns. All around a great place to stay.
