For those with an active lifestyle or families with kids, Bay Oaks Park is nearby, featuring two large playgrounds, scenic walking paths, exercise stations, and majestic oak trees. Don’t miss the East Beach Farmers Market every Saturday in the summer, where you can explore fresh local produce and artisan goods!

✸ Norfolk Botanical Gardens - 2.1 miles - One of our favorite nearby amenities! This is one of Norfolk's treasures! 175 beautiful acres of gardens with 7 miles of paved paths. They also have boat tours, tram tours, butterfly house and a restaurant on site! On Sundays, they allow dogs to visit too!
✸ Norfolk Zoo - 5.2 miles - There over 700 animals to see and 53 acres to roam this 100+ year old zoo!
✸ Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center - 15 miles - A 30 min Drive but worth it to see the otters! They recently opened a large outdoor play area for small kids, have lots of walking paths and multiple buildings to explore. There is also an adventure high ropes course on the property with zip lines!
✸ Busch Gardens - 36 Miles - Also a bit of a drive but if you're into rollercoasters, they have 8 of them and do great seasonal events like Hallowscream & Christmas Town.
