Welcome to Sunset Cove

Spacious North Shore Gold Coast cottage nestled among a peaceful dune preserve for maximum privacy. Just a short walk to the North Pier lets you watch the fishermen in the morning, or head a mile to North Beach Park for a day of fun with its play area, pavilions, and restrooms (day pass required). With hiking trails winding through the dunes and easy access to all the lakeshore activities, this cottage is perfect for a memorable getaway with family and friends.

Inside the Home
Sunset Cove comfortably sleeps 12 guests and features five bedrooms and three full bathrooms in a three-suite layout, offering convenience and privacy. The open great room includes a vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and sliders to the deck with seating and a gas grill for cookouts. The lower-level family room opens to a fully screened-in rear deck (updated April 2025) and includes two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a game room with ping-pong, a movie library with DVD & VCR, PlayStation, and toys and games for kids. A den upstairs also provides additional sleeping space with a sleeper sofa. This property is not pet-friendly.

Great house in a beautiful location

The house was the perfect size and layout for our group with small children. The separated bedroom/bathroom areas gave everyone privacy and their own space. We loved the front patio for watching the sunset and the easy access to the beach about 1/2 mile away. Great location!

Family get together

This house was great for our family. Plenty of space and places to sleep. It was clean and in a great location. We were under the impression it was actually located on the beach, it was close. We had gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. The pier and beach were just a short walk away. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, silverware, cups, pots and pans, etc. We really enjoyed our stay!

Overall the stay was very good. The we wanted space for the group to visit and get caught up and the house provided that space extremely well. The house was clean we had no problems. The front door needs adjusting/replacement.

Wonderful home near Lake Michigan!

This is a beautiful and spacious home set right beside a preserved dune and very close to Lake Michigan. The home is fully stocked with all of the supplies you would need as well as plenty of games, movies, and ping pong. With 2 living rooms as well as a front porch and back deck, there is plenty of hang out space for all. It is located within a short walk or bike ride to the pier in Grand Haven or a quick 5 minute drive to North Beach which has bathrooms, a playground, pavilion, and beautiful sand. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very accommodating to us. We spent a long weekend here with our extended family and had a wonderful time sharing meals, having intentional time, and just enjoying the beach and the amazing Lake Michigan sunsets. I definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a place in the Grand Haven area!
