NOTE: The Lake Norman water level is very low for this time of year without any big rain in the forecast. Until the water level rises, our cove cannot support motorized boats entering or leaving. Once the water level is normal, it should be no problem but we aren`t there today. We will update this message as things change, but that`s the situation as of late April.

By mid-morning the kayaks are out in the cove; by sundown, burgers are sizzling on the deck while Sonos plays and the kids disappear into the game room for shuffleboard and Pop-a-Shot. ✹ GENERAL: Guests can enjoy full access to the entire home and outdoor area.

✹ PARKING: Free parking is available for 4 vehicles in the large driveway.

✹ Wi-Fi/INTERNET: We offer free, high-speed internet on the property.

✹ FAMILY: Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered with a few supplies, including a Pack & Play/travel crib and a high chair.

✹ PETS: A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed with a $150 one-time pet fee. This is a pet-friendly property, so please do not book if someone in your group has a pet allergy.

✹ WATERCRAFT: We have two (2) one-person kayaks available for guest use. We also have life jackets of various sizes from adult to small child.

✹ DOCK: Our private dock is great for those that love the water! For boaters, please note (a) there isn`t any electricity on the dock, (b) the boat lift is not operational, and (c) the water depth can vary greatly based on the lake water level (usually deepest during the summer), (d) we cannot guarantee that the dock can accommodate your specific boat. If you have questions, please ask.

✹ RENTAL AGREEMENT: Please note that we do require signature of our rental agreement/liability waiver within 48 hours after booking.

✹ TWO PAYMENTS: If your booking date is within 30 days of check-in, you will receive one charge reflecting 100% of the reservation amount. However, in order to ease the process of securing our stay more than 30 days from check-in, we will divide up you purchase into two payments. 40% will be charged immediately and 60% will be charged 30 days prior to check-in. Both charges will be from LAKE.RENTAL.HOME.

✹ ID VERIFICATION: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

✹ CANCELLATIONS: If the guest cancels the booking and is entitled to a return, the return will be reduced by 4% as we have to pay the processing fees regardless.

We have one actively recording Ring doorbell camera outside that records video and audio. There is also a smart home device on the back deck and firepit areas which actively record noise decibel levels only. They do not record audio or video.
