Great layout and beautiful views

The house was very clean and it had a great patio to watch the golfers go by in the evenings. Mike was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions we had. He even let us know the house was ready early even though we didn't request early check in. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful home on a awesome golf course!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The views and weather were wonderful. My only complaint was that the laundry washing machine was out of order and I was not warned prior to booking or our stay. I had packed items to do laundry because I hate coming home to so much dirty clothes.

Amazing views, very clean and comfortable!

We had an amazing stay. Clean, comfortable beds, perfect spot in the valley in the golf course. A couple upgrades since last summer. Love the fire table! Thank you for the amazing stay!

Labor Day Get-away

Grand vacation at Grand Elk! Home is perfect, quiet, spectacular views, comfortable beds, plenty of space, it has everything you need. Perfect location, easy drive to tons of activities nearby, including golf, right on the property. Host and management company made process very easy for check in, stay and check out. Great place for family stay

We waited out the arctic blast in this magnificent home. Huge kitchen with all the amenities (spices, sugar, flour)! There were so many small touches which made this home special. Fuzzy blankets, board games, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, a stocked kitchen. It’s the small things which count. Also the host was extremely responsive.

Nice and comfortable with amazing views

This house is very cozy and is in a fantastic location for all of the summer activities we enjoy doing. There were 5 of us and the size was just right (don't be fooled by the pictures online! While roomy, it's not nearly as spacious as the pics make it seem, nor as updated!) What we loved: location, views, back deck w/fire pit, front porch, comfy beds, fuzzy blankets in the family room, open kitchen, and large dining table. What we didn't love: super hot upstairs even with fans and windows open on a hot day (probably typical of 2-story homes up there), family room furniture kind of worn, bathrooms not as roomy or updated as pics make it look, light bulb out in upstairs king-bathroom, carpets are pretty dirty. We realize this home is a rental so it's not a deal breaker, but for cost comparison with other homes in the area, these are things for the owner to consider improving. We would think about staying here again for the things we loved.

Very nice home.

Overall this was a lovely house in a great location for skiing in Granby. We had three adults and three kids, including an 18 month old toddler. The dual master bedrooms was very nice. The bunk beds worked out well for our 8 and 4 year old. We appreciated the use of the owner's pack 'n' play, which was very clean and in good condition. The kitchen was fully-equiped with all the basics that you would need. The local City Market (Krogers) was two minutes away. Be sure to ask for the membership card, we saved a lot using this. If you recycle, there is a recycling bin in the City Market parking lot, right at the entrance to the McDonald's drive-thru. We brought a booster seat from home for meal time, but many travelers won't be able to cart a seat around. The owners might consider purchasing a high chair for the property. This would be a nice addition for guests with little ones. Installing child-safe covers for the electrical outlets would also be nice. We appreciated having access to the washer and dryer; in fact, we would not have selected this property if not for this. We did three loads of laundry during our 6-day stay. We had some trouble with the door code, but this was very quickly resolved by contacting the property manager. Note that if your kids play with the door keypad, you will probably get locked out because the keypad will block you from entering the correct number. This is like trying to enter your password on an electronic device too many times. The e-lock thinks that someone is trying to break in. If we head out to Granby/Winterpark again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again. FYI, the drive to Winterpark is 20 minutes in good weather. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable - Amazing Views

We recently stayed at this property (two couples and one adult child), and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location in Grandby is great, and the 360 views are fantastic - especially from the cute/cozy back deck. What we loved: Views, location, back deck/firepit, open/large kitchen, comfortable beds (2 kings for couples), garage, front deck, multiple bathrooms, very clean. What kept us from rating 5 stars: Looks like a rental (pictures are deceiving), the carpet and family room couch are worn, and it is very warm upstairs in the summer, even with fans, but we did open the windows, which helped during the night/early morning hours. The lightbulb in the upstairs King bedroom was burned out - made it kind of difficult to see. Overall, this is a great property, and would certainly consider staying again. However, for the price, we would have expected it to be a bit more updated and roomy.

Comfortable Cabin

Home was very clean and comfortable. Good views on back deck. Close to lots of places like Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, and Winter Park. Liked being able to park in the garage at night.

Nice house, very clean, close to a lot of great activities.

Very good location. Close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. Good time with boat rental on the lake. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful Getaway in the heart of Granby

The home was wonderful and filled with everything we needed. It had a stocked kitchen of pans, utensils, dishes and everything we needed for our cooking needs. The house was spotless and spacious. Located on a golf course with a wonderful view of the mountains, the home offered calming views and a wonderful deck outside to view the stars. The home was great for kids. It had lot's of boards games and even an old school pac man arcade, which was a big hit. We had such a lovely stay. The owner was wonderful contacting us and making sure all of our questions were answered. Bonus... It was within walking distance to the local market! Highly recommend!

Great location and home

Overall we had a good experience. We had some confusion in communicating with the host/property manager. Mostly because they were both named Kim and I didn't realize I was communicating with 2 people! Just some confusion there. One other issue we had was cleanliness of the kid room. The sheets and beds were fairly dirty. We also couldn't locate actual sheets for the trundle bed - only blankets - which also were not clean. Otherwise the property was lovely.

Great place to stay

The property was clean. I really liked that they had toliet paper, paper towels and shower products available upon arrival. The welcome gifts of hot cocoa, popcorn and chocolates was very nice. The location was great for skiing at Granby and WinterPark. The view was amazing every day!! A great job clearing the snow off the driveway. A few more board games with all the pieces would be nice but that is my only complaint. Great house!!!

Smoke alarm issue

We loved everything about the house but had a problem with the smoke alarms on two separate days. The first time it stopped “chirping” on its own. The next morning at 6 a.m. the alarms went off and could not be stopped. On the advice of the home manager we had to get out the ladder and disconnect all of them. Not a task a renter should have to perform! Hope they replace the alarms.

Great for family reunions

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, modern, spacious with a very well equipped kitchen and a beautiful view of the mountains. What more could you ask for? Quiet, on a golf course, which you can comfortably view from your spacious deck or in the hot-tub, and within walking distance to a good grocery store. We were able to have our extended family over for big family suppers, and it was easy. The kitchen had everything we needed, from cooking to serving. We loved it. Dealing with the property manager was also seamless. However, as part of the security system, there are cameras outside, one if which is facing the hot-tub, which she forgot to mention. When we brought it up, she suggested we throw a towel over it when we are outside. Not a great solution, but workable I suppose. I would have preferred knowing about it ahead of time though, rather than finding out myself. I understand the need for it when the place is vacant, but it’s a little creepy when you are there. And although the BBQ works fine, it is in a little state of disrepair. Not really in keeping with the quality of the rest of the place. Overall, though, this place is excellent, and I highly recommend it, especially if you like having a lot of people around the table over a good meal.

Beautiful and clean

Great vacation property. We had three couples and one of the best things I enjoyed about this house was that each bedroom had its own bathroom! Definitely a plus. The kitchen was nice and open and had everything we needed to make meals. The garage was nice to park in and store our snowboarding gear too. The hot tub was one of the larger ones that accommodated more people. All in all a great place to stay especially if traveling with other families
