Cabin was as advertised.Great location and all things very accessible.Would recommend for anyone who is looking for something remote but close to everything. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee watching the trees sway in the breeze and the birds flying by was very relaxing.

Inconvenient

It was not close to anything. Needs updating also needs a new shower. Shower was not good. It needs a shower in the upstairs bathroom also. Hot tub smelled musty. Hard to want to use it when the neighbors are so close. From pictures you have no idea of the lack of parking or that your on a highway.

Enjoyable Girls Getaway

The cabin was wonderful and exceeded our expectations! Had a wonderful time enjoying the area with its location and peaceful surroundings. Avoiding the hustle and bustle of congested tourist areas was great! Close enough for day trips too! Will most definitely be visiting again.

The cabin was clean and welcoming. It was in a quiet location close to the Smokey Mountains, and all the attractions. It felt like home for our family and our Goldendoodle.

Great Comfortable Cabin

We had a great time at the cabin. It is well cared for and everything was very comfortable. The hottub worked and maintained temperature very well. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, however the only condiments/seasoning was salt and pepper. My biggest complaint is the knives in kitchen are quite possibly the dullest knives I have ever used, I think the table knives may have been sharper.

Nice cabin withour propane

Nice property which was far out from civilization. We had no issues beyond the grill that wouldn't light ( no propane). Worth the money but a little far out for our tastes.

Great stay

We had a great stay at Ambelside. The cabin is beautiful and there was enough room for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. We loved the wrap around porch. There were jacuzzi tubs in each bathroom The neighbor is close but they were friendly. There was a bbq on site but there was no propane. We also felt there was not enough toilet paper/dish towels/ paper towels for a one week stay. There is a pool just a short drive away. We only used it once and we had it all to ourselves! The lake is close as well. My son accidentally broke a lamp when we were packing up and the owner was very kind and we were able to work it out. Overall we had a great stay. There is q bbq

worth the trip

This property works well for our family and we are able to bring our fur babies too! Sevierville has a wonderful dog park to run the dogs! It provides just what we need to visit friends that live in the area

Vacation stay

The property was nice, parking was terrible, the neighbors tv was on all afternoon noon in there porch. The WiFi didn’t work and the owner had little remorse. I needed to work but owner didn’t seem to really care if WiFi worked or not like advertised. It should have been checked ahead of time and given us a heads up it was not working, had to go into town to work so didn’t get to enjoy the cabin as expected. That was disappointing. Owner didn’t really care about that and just said hope you understand. Booked because it has WiFi and for it not to work made for a enjoyable trip.

I recently retired after 38 years in retail management and wanted start a new venture where I could continue to meet people and share my interest of the outdoors. My outdoor interest took me and my British wife Pip to East Tennessee nearly 10 years ago and we fell in love with how laid back and peaceful this beautiful area of the United States is. Over the years we have made many good friends in this part of east Tennessee so we decided to invest in a property where we could rent to other outdoor enthusiast who love being outdoors and in the wilderness.
