House was great, nice neighborhood. 15 min from LSU and mall of Louisiana. More detailed arrival/departue details would be nice. Master toilet runs and needs service.

Weekend Getaway

We booked here for a weekend getaway and the place was so clean and nice. The host was easy to reach and answered all questions. Would definitely book again!

Wedding

We stayed here for a nearby wedding at Mount Hope! 4 minutes to the venue and close enough to do some great shopping nearby without hitting the interstate! We slept well and enjoyed a nice relaxing stay!

Plenty of room

Plenty of room for a family, or group of several people to stay with comfort. Not too far from stores and food establishments.

Terrible communication with host re:check in. Required multiple texts and phone calls. Never got Wi-Fi code. No soap in bathrooms, minimal towels of marginal quality. Police called in at 4:00 am to quell a neighborhood disturbance in the street right outside the property—complete let’s with bullhorns. Only slept there after an LSU game, thank goodness. Would not recommend, definitely would not return.

Beautiful place

I had some trouble with the checkin process but the owner was nice and helped me get in. I believe it was an issue on Vrbo's side. The he owner made the best of it.

Location and size of the place is nice. However, we did not receive instructions on entry until having to call the VRBO help line after waiting 2 hours into the reservation with no response from the host. There were many odd things we noticed immediately: everything in the house was unplugged, the back door doorknob was not screwed into the door and immediately fell off when we attempted to open the door, there was a dirty kitchen towel laying in the middle of the living room, one of the twin beds was made to appear intact and when one of us sat a bag on the bed the foot of the bed collapsed, the trashcan in the main bathroom was full of trash and placed in the bathtub with a dirty bath mat placed by it, there were about 5 squares of toilet paper on the roll in the main bathroom and no extra toilet paper to be found anywhere. We were all confused by the state of the place considering the good reviews preciously left. Because it was Christmas Eve and Christmas day that we were there we assumed our stay was overlooked or the cleaning crew either didn’t show up or properly complete the cleaning. No instructions were left on expectations regarding checkout. Therefore we attempted to run the dishwasher the night before we left and the next morning it had completed the run cycle but the dishes didn’t look like any water had touched them. The house is supplied with the very basics so bring your own toiletries and toilet paper.

Baton Rogue 2 nites

Beautiful new home with plenty amenities. A few suggestions. Maintain lawn, spray interior for pests (roach) as we did see a few, clean outdoor back seating area, provide a can opener and at least 1 sharp or carving knife, linens out for each room, be sure to clean oven interior between customers, maybe complimentary coffee or snacks. Despite these items our stay was excellent!

Not again

Dishwasher dishes dirty, washing machine filled with dirty towels, towels bleached stained and only 3 for 8 people, owl and cat walling at 5 am, guest bed not comfortable, water shut off in middle of stay that took a few hours to fix. I cleaned whole place during stay and at end. Not a good first impression at all.
