Central but rundown

The place worked. The location worked well for us because it was close to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Culver City, and Santa Monica. It is located in Robertson Pico area. The beds were comfortable, bathroom worked fine. AC was loud but at least it worked. Parking worked, street is nothing special, not a walking area. The amenities were nice. The place is rundown. The toilet seemed like the only thing that wasn’t 60 years old.

Not too shabby

A great place to stay! The shower was a little sketchy and kinda hard to understand, I was either freezing or melting. The floors all felt really dirty and it could get really really warm during the day. But the beds were nice. I would probably stay here again. It's not as nice as a hotel but as a home base for a vacation it was great

A good base.

Beds comfortable and clean, check in very easy, location good for public transport, nice main room.Toilet was blocked when we arrived. The problem was fixed in a day.The apartment is run down with rotten windows, we couldn't get hot water, but cold showers were fine in the hot climate.One sink was also slow to drain, there were no plugs for the sinks.The kitchen chairs were wobbly.The air conditioning units worked.It was simply a base for us as we were out all day every day, so it was invaluable for that.There is a target and other big shops twenty minutes walk away. There is also a Catholic Church at the end of the street. Lots of places to eat close by.

Old building, cockroaches, poor communication

Very old building— AC/fans barely worked, broken window/screen in one of the rooms. We found 2 cockroaches in the Vrbo, one was dead in the kitchen. The Vrbo initially wasn’t cleaned/beds weren’t made/dirty towels and bathrooms. We reached out to the host who did end up sending a cleaner (took an hour or two) to fix it up, but the next day we found a live cockroach in the bathroom. Poor communication with the host after expressing concerns with the safety/cleanliness of the Vrbo. Deprecated place that did not feel like a clean place to stay

Decaying, broken down, and unsafe.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We’ve tried to get a refund for this reservation, both from the host and VRBO. The host has been unresponsive, and VRBO has not been able to help us. Basically, this unit is a broken down, very old building. Pieces were missing from the windows, so air could flow right in. We saw a roach on the stairs. There was hair on the ground and stains on the chairs. The furniture seemed extremely cheap. We took one look at the place, then got right back in the car and left and got a hotel for the night. We will not be renting from VRBO again after this horrible experience.
