The exterior was nice and each of the five bedrooms has it own en suite.The interior was dated, late 80's nostalgic.Some of televisions need to be updated along with provided linens.

The parking was a problem but the host offered us more parking spaces and we took it. Problem solved! The house could have been cleaner. The linens needed to be cleaner. The house needs a refresh of paint and furniture. The house layout is incredible. I was amazed at how the house was built. Overall, our stay was good.

House was amazing and Donald was even more amazing. He was even able to help us with early check in due to our flight. I plan to book his house every year for my trip to Atlanta.

Awesome place

This place was perfect for me and my brothers. It was clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Everyone had their own bathroom and shower. I would like to rent this location ever year around the same time.

Great stay

We stayed at this property whilst attending an exhibition at the Georgia World Congress Centre which only took around 30 mins to drive in the morning. Every one was very happy with the size and quality of the house with plenty of personal space for 4 guys sharing. The owner was attentive and professional to all correspondence and requests. We found it much better than a hotel at a fraction of the price and will definitely rent again next time. Could not recommend highly enough. Thank you Donald

Very Nice Home

My family and I stayed at the home and it met every need. The refrigerator was stocked with starters such as water. We were greeted with a personalized note and all of the directions for the area were provided. Each guest had their own room and bathroom which was essential. To top it off, the host visited us to make sure that everything was going along well and reinforced his commitment to making the place a home away from home. I would do it all again if I returned to Atlanta with a large group. Cheers to the Host!

Wow, just wow!!!

I rented this house for a retreat for me and my team, and we didn't know what to expect when we arrived. The pictures do no justice!!! This house was spacious and BEAUTIFUL!! Perfect for my team of 0 to stay comfortably, and we also had a gathering with about 25 people and everyone was comfortable, plenty of seating and plenty of space without having to be crowded on each other. The location was great and on a very quiet street! Plenty of car parking available. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will be renting again!! Donald was a great host and is very responsive!!!

Upon arriving to the rental property we couldn’t get in the code sent for the door wasn’t working. The owner fixed the situation quickly by letting us in another rental property. The house really need a lot of updating

Atlanta Adult Trip

House was wonderful very accommodating for everyone in our group. Everyone had there own room and bathroom. Wish there were cooking pans. Has plenty of pots, frying pans, and dishes. But no pans. Had some confusion when we arrived due to Vurbo’s email giving a different house number and key code. But called the host and got things cleared up quickly. Getting cars into the garage was a bit difficult due to the driveway being narrow but we got it accomplished. Loved the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Neighborhood was quiet other than being near the airport and having the noise of planes.

Really amazing property!!!

The property was exactly as described. My sisters and I took a girls trip and there was more than enough room for all of us. Don was johnny on the spot for anything we wanted or needed. The ONLY drawback was not being able to enjoy the 3 section patio due to bees. There was finally some spring weather and they wanted to enjoy it as well Luckily a friend came by and advised that they were carpenter bees and wouldnt bother us, so we did spend an hour or so out there, but the girls were still afraid. There was some construction near by, so hopefully they will go away when its complete, or there is some way to treat them because that patio was everything. Either way, EVERY trip to Atlanta we will be staying here. Thanks Don, you rock!!!!

I wouldn’t rent again

The floors were not real clean. I found dead roaches in 3 of the 5 bedrooms. Hair and dirt on the floors. The kitchen cupboard door was falling off. The dish washer when you opened it would come forward out of the opening. Not screwed in place. Had to push it back into the hole. Could probably use a water softener. Water tasted bad. The beds were clean and comfortable

Enchanting It WAS!!!

The Enchanted Retreat Luxury House was as advertised, two car garage with plenty of extra parking. The five bedrooms (each with their own baths) provided plenty of space for four couples and a young teenager. The women felt the home as cozy, and the fellas was just happy with the space, and the fact that each room had cable access with a color TV -- the guys were able to slip away and watch some football. The house is near shopping as well as eateries. We we visiting from Md, attending a Bowl game at the new Mercedes Benz Stadium -- so travel was not bad to get there -- approx..20 minutes from the house. Mr. Don proved to be the consummate professional, there when we need him, even had a welcome placard for me and my family and friends, with refreshments to boot! Will definitely like to stay there again, pending property availability! Heck, the fellas are already talking about a golf trip there, lol! Mr. Don, again, thanks a million for the use of your home, and your 'southern hospitality, it was well received and very much appreciated' Respectfully, Ken L.

Beautiful home however

This was a beautiful home with plenty of space, however check-in was at 4 and I arrived at 4:30. I was surprised to see the cleaning crew and the owner was still at the home cleaning. They stayed around for about 20 min before leaving. So actually the check-in time was at 5. Also if you plan of cooking during your stay, the kitchen is not equipped with the basic cooking supplies. Gladly I had a relative that lives close by that was able to bring items from their home. Parking at this place is not good if you have more than four vehicles b/c there are four units underneath the home that is rented out to tenets that is not shared in the property descriptions. I felt that I did not have any privacy with knowing that people was living under me.

Property will be considered for next Family Celebration in Atlanta

My family and I chose this property for our family Christmas vacation. The House was located in a peaceful neighborhood. We were pleased with the house cleanliness and size. Don was contacted several times concerning one of the inoperable bedroom TV, he immediately replied to each emails. However, with Don’s suggestions for correcting the TV problem; nothing worked and the TV remained inoperable during our entire stay. Don was contacted about the house temperature, he informed me on how to increase the temp and we all were comfortable. On our last day, Prior to checking out Don called to express his appreciation for our decision to rent his property also the property manager came by to greet us and extended an apology for the inoperable TV. The linens could have been neatly folded and stored in a closet other than hanging and placed in master bedroom closet. Some of the linens are worn and needs to be replaced. Overall, our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. This property will be considered for our next family vacation in Atlanta. Thanks to Property Owner and Manager for displaying great customer service during our stay.

Lay out of home was a 10, cleanliness and beyond a 2

The VRBO check in time says 3:00 but the property owner said we could not get in until 4. We had guests arriving from around the country so this was a last minute surprise. We were able to check in at 3:30 with guests having to wait in the driveway. The initial walk thru the home was fine but noticed piles of garbage bags at either property front corner that ended up staying there the entire time we were. The queen and king size beds were covered in a single, twin size velour blanket and old sheets with stained pillows. The towels were stiff, filled with holes and did not lend to a good feeling when using. The showers all had black mold along the ceilings as well. The kitchen cabinets are in desperate need of repair and the fridge sadly did not work and we lost all of the food we brought to cook with bc the temp of the fridge was warmer than the house. When we assessed the cooking options, we sadly came to find old food in the oven that had to have been sitting in there for days or weeks. We felt like we were staying in a space that someone was living in moments before our arrival and got kicked out having to leave so we could stay there. It was far from meeting our expectations. The best part of our stay was that we were together. On our last day we had to check out early due to a storm that took out the power. We know we left the house cleaner than we found it even in the dark. This VRBO has great potential but it is a far cry from being suitable for a comfortable, clean and enjoyable stay.

Not as advertised

This house was large & roomy, our vacation consisted of 3 small families (with small children) & we all had our own space which was perfect, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Check in had a little confusion as the door code sent to me with my confirmed booking was incorrect as well as the home "details". After a call to the owner, he arrived within 20 minutes to open the door & give me a new door code, no problem, things happen. When the new code was emailed to me along with the new home details, a lot of things were different. My 2 HUGE complaints & the reason we'll never stay here again. 1. the listing does not tell you that there are 4 or so individual apartments under the house that are rented to long term renters, so the big pretty porch & back yard area shown in the pictures are SHARED with other people. Not to mention, the sheet of paper inside the home very directly advising you basically not to talk to strangers, not to trust anyone, etc. Unnerving to say the least. 2. the A/C is locked on 73 with a lock box over it so you can not adjust it AT ALL. In Florida 73 is HOT especially when the heater kicks on (I live in Florida btw). I had to open our bedroom window just to cool the room (which did not have a screen & is wide open to the back deck that has stairs right to the down stairs residents) . We had to make a run to the store to purchase a fan to help! If this information was shared in the listing we would NOT have rented this house & I'm sharing it now so everyone knows & if you chose to rent this house, bring a fan! I am a home owner to a vacation rental of my own in St George Island & I would never LOCK the thermostat due to a high power bill from previous renters. Be a responsible home owner of a vacation rental & budget in advance for that type of stuff. We only stayed for 2 nights & with each passing day I only got angrier. That big of a house with that many people staying at one time, it gets HOT &ceiling fans do not do enough to cool the place down!

Nice but needs UPDATING AND CLEANED!!

This house could be really nice, but needs updating badly and a thorough cleaning. The dining room table one of the arms on the chair was broken. The TV in the 2nd master bdrm didn't work. We could never get the AC to work properly thankfully it wasn't that hot outside. The main master bedroom shower has MOLD all around the walls up top and all around the edges on the floor looks terrible I almost vomitted!! The left knob on the jacuzzi tub was stripped wasn't going to use it just was going to rinse off. The hot water heater needs adjusting for the other 4 bedrooms. I spoke and met with the owner hopefully he will address these issues. In a nut shell I wouldn't stay here again until this house is updated and DEFINITELY CLEANED BETTER!!

A stones throw from Downtown Atlanta

While the home was very nice and spacious, we did have issues with a few of the TV's and remotes not working properly. When I reached out to the owner, he was quick to send someone over but the issues remained; I didn't reach out again...we just dealt with it. Another concern was the thermostat was locked so we didn't have any control of the temperature in the house; it was cooler than we cared for. Again, we just dealt with it. I suppose I'd rather be too cold than too hot. The three king size beds were comfortable while the two queen size beds were lumpy. Again, a very lovely home overall. And please prepare to bring the bare essentials (salt, pepper, etc.) if you plan on cooking while in the house.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Me and my group were very happy with the home, I have had a bad experience in the past but this home and property manager makes up for everything I was thinking that could go wrong. I come to Atl alot from Dallas, TX and from now on I will contact him to see if this house is available. We don't have anything bad to say but our trip ended to fast. Keep up the good work Mr. Donald

It was not up dated

It’s a nice property with a lot of room but needs to be updated. The refrigerator doesn’t get very cold. The beds should have complete bedding to include bed spread.
