Communication was continual and timely throughout the stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. The house accommodated our family of 4 easily and suited our visit to the area well. The neighborhood was quiet with plenty of good restaurants and grocery close.

Lovely, well-maintained home located in a middle-class neighborhood. I enjoyed walking the neighborhood, watching the flowering trees start to bloom. and relaxing in the backyard. The backyard is surprisingly large and extremely private. It's a good place for meditation and self-reflection (in good weather, and February-March in Bakersfield is amazing!). The master bed was extremely comfortable (my wife raved about it), and the kitchen was well-maintained and functional. We clearly made the right choice picking Darrin's place over the Residence Inn we had earlier considered. The location worked well for us being close to my daughter's residence, restaurants, and the growing southern end of Bakersfield. We made several visits to the nearby Planet Fitness. Finally, Darrin was an excellent host. He provided us with all the information we needed and then let us enjoy the home as though it was our own. We will definitely consider returning on our next trip to Bakersfield.

Weddingcation

My family flew from Missouri and Arkansas to be here for my nephew wedding. The house worked great for us. We were gone most of the day so we didn’t use the kitchen to cook but it had everything we needed.
