Very nice house in a nice neighborhood. Martha was very easy to work with. Our son lives in Bakersfield and we will be renting this house again in the future!

Great place!

Nice place in Bakersfield in a good neighborhood. Nice pool, plenty of room, clean, equipped very nicely. Hosts were great, very attentive. All in all, it was a great time! We will stay here next year also.

2nd stay

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Martha’s home. She is a great host. Her home is not only immaculately clean but so comforting for a restful stay. The beds & pillows are so plush. She goes above and beyond for her guests. Highly recommend her as a host.

Wonderful experience and property

We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities of this home. It was truly a home away from home and the pool and patio was the icing on the cake. The comfortable bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms fit our family of 4 adults perfectly. We highly recommend this property and would stay again if we ever visit Bakersfield again! Thank you for a great place to stay!

Hometown

We were in town for a Celebration of Life for my husband. Bakersfield is my hometown and still have many family members living there. I now live in Vegas, my family in Napa and we have many friends in the LA Palm Springs area so Bakersfield was the center point. This house was perfect warm and inviting, the only negative the weather to cold and rainy to use the pool. We would definitely stay here again. Celebration was held at Wool Growers an iconic Bakersfield restaurant.

Amazing Stay

Martha is such an amazing host. She stayed in constant communication with me and my wife. The place was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were perfect. We didn’t get a chance to try out the pool because it was winter. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that every time we are in Bakersfield this is our go to location. Verbo is much better than AirBnb! The communication and speedy booking time was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again Martha!!!

A relaxing and classy retreat

It was hard to leave. Martha and her team have everything dialed in. The pool temp and AC temp in the house were perfect - refreshing but no too extreme. Very neat house with modern, comfy furniture. Kitchen was fun to cook in. Martha was super responsive and had a local runner bring us a few things we needed. The zero-gravity lounge chairs by the pool were awesome. Also, we loved the diving board which is higher than the usual diving board and uncharacteristically springy. Plenty of privacy and some nice palms in the back yard too to calm the spirit. The tempurpedic beds were dreamy and no one heard anyone else snoring. :) Our teens loved having the master suite right off the hot tub. It was great to be able to give them their own space. The hall bathroom was plenty big for the rest of us. Oh, and the blankets were plentiful and snuggly. They seem to be everywhere you need them. Great time. Great house.

Super zum entspannen

Wir hatten ein paar erholsame Tage am Pool nutzen können. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und hat alles, was man braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
