Thank you for looking at our page! My husband and I have been married 39 years and met at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. I retired from public school teaching in 2022 and now run a storage facility in St. Louis and work as an academic coach at a nearby college. My husband served in the Army, then took a civilian job as a Bank Examiner for the State of Missouri. We love to call Jefferson City home. My husband was born here and graduated from Jefferson City High School. We raised our 24-year-old daughter in Jefferson City. She is a proud graduate of Helias Catholic High School in our town. I am happiest when entertaining guests at our home. In addition to renting, we enjoy spending time with friends and extended family, going to concerts, and traveling. When traveling, we find that it isn't always the destination, but also the place that you stay and the folks you meet along the way that create a trip as a lasting memory. The area acts as a small village with walking to a school, church, park/aquatic center, convenience store, a vintage shop, and a popular eating establishment all within a 10-minute walking distance. By walking 1 block, public transportation running from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday is available for $1.50. It is 5 minutes from the Missouri State Capitol.
