We chose this location because it perfectly blends peaceful rural living with close access to Jefferson City. The home sits right between Westphalia and Loose Creek, two small, friendly towns with local restaurants, coffee, and essentials just minutes away. We love the quiet mornings, open skies, and the feeling of being tucked into the countryside while still being near wedding venues, trails, historic sites, and the Missouri State Capitol. It’s a place where you can slow down, breathe, and genuinely enjoy your stay.

The Dickneite Mini Ranch is a farmhouse with history. Once known as the Hermann House—and even a petting zoo in the past—it now serves as a cozy getaway with plenty of charm. Guests love the spacious layout, the sunroom, the fire pit, and the family-friendly outdoor areas. It’s rare to find a place that feels this peaceful, this close to Jefferson City, and still works perfectly for families, friends, hunters, and small events.
