Spent a very relaxing late-summer week at this house with some friends. It's location is perfect, on a quiet canal. We spent lots of time outside: eating and reading on the decks, grilling and making amores, etc.
We were slightly unprepared by the lack of some basic supplies: there was no toilet paper, no soap for washing dishes, no dishwasher detergent--requiring several trips to the store for expensive local varieties. If that's standard, it needs to be made more explicit, so be aware if you're a first-time renter like us. The kitchen supplies were also not entirely adequate: there were no tongs or spatulas for the grill, no full set of measuring cups, and the only pan without a disintegrating base was the wok.
We made do--and again, the house was very cozy--but the lack of some of the basic amenities was at times very frustrating.
