Great stay in Medellin !

Rented this VRBO for my parents. They had a great time. Location was great, super close to a lot of restaurants, shops, shopping centers that were within a 5-15 minutes walking distance. Apartment was well equipped. View was nice from the apartment as well. My parents highlighted the great work of the security guy at the building entrance and his friendliness. Communication with Leon (Property Manager- VRBO contact) was great. Always responsive and super attentive to my parents. They actually are planning to go back to Medellin by mid- year and they asked me they would like to stay on this property again, so that by itself is a great sign. My parents recommend this property for all the features shown above.

Nice location but ...

The apt was nice. Great location. Just a few minutes walking to the Unicentro mall. The mall has currency exchange, nice restaurants, supermarket "Exito" and many other establishments. That's the pro, the con's on the other hand, you will get a 6 a.m. wakeup call every single day from the local airport (just a couple of miles away). It's unreal. The other issue was, we were there for 8 nights. No paper towels, no detergent to wash your clothes, we had to go buy toilet paper. Barely any hand soap and no body wash. The owner does not physically check the apt after the cleaning crew to make sure everything is in order for the next guests. The first day I had contacted the owner about the apt not being cleaned and that we had not detergent to wash clothes. She immediately sent someone to re-clean the apt but no mentioned about the detergent.

Incredible apartment, awesome location

I can't say enough nice things about this VRBO. The property management company is incredibly responsive, the building is super nice, it has a sauna and steam room, the location is incredible, it's not in the central part of laurelles, so it's more quiet, but it's within 5 or 10 minute walking distance to major areas including the unicentro which is a huge mall with a movie theater and everything you need including groceries. What makes this such an incredible spot is how attentive everything is, the kitchen has everything you need, there's a washer, the desk to work from is very large, the internet is great, the bathroom has soap and shampoo and conditioner, and the doorman and staff are all really super helpful and nice. One of the best places I've ever stayed at, highly recommended.

Great place, well priced

Two of us loved this location close to the Unicentro mall - Laureles, near medellin universidad boliviana and with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Secure building, nicely decorated studio with well appointed kitchen and nice balcony with table and chairs for 2. The apartment gets afternoon sun.The supplied fan is great on a hot day. Suggestions for future visitors, 1) Once you have arrived with your luggage, use the mall location for your taxi back to the area, as they seem to have trouble with the address 2) be aware the bed has a firm mattress and 3) note the apartment is close to the flight path for planes to the domestic airport. It seemed to us the planes started arriving around 6:17 am. It did not bother us but could others.I am confident that knowing the above information will assist you in having a pleasant stay..

It's a very nice updated apartment, clean, it has almost everything you need. The apartment is located in very quiet neighborhood and has security 24/7, safe place. It's very close to a shopping center, bank and grocery store, very convenient.We will rent this apartment again.

A gem in the city!

This apartment is fantastic. The part of town is safe and easy going, the location made it easy to walk down to Laureles, and it was a great place to work from. The place is perfect for one or two people, if they are a couple, but could get cramped with more than that. The place comes with a well put together kitchen, with everything you need. A washer, warm water, drinkable water, and a very nice vibe. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back next year if it is available! Thanks Juanes!

Contemporary Apartment in a Boutique Hotel

We enjoyed our stay in the Conquistadores area of Laureles. The apartment is very bright and airy with large windows. The small space is utilized very well with the addition of a large walk-in closet for storage and an extra half bath. A Short walk will take you to the Unicentro Shopping Mall and the Exito Supermarket. (Perfect for buying groceries for the apartment.) Next to the building is Café Tales a nice neighborhood cafe run by a lovely mother and daughter. Being vegan was not an issue in Medellín. There are many vegetarian/vegan restaurants (Verdeo, Saludpan, Lenteja Express) we will have to return to Medellín and try the restaurants we missed the first time. Highlights of our trip was the weather, the Paisas, the food, fruits, coffee and Museo El Castillo. We will definitely return to Medellín and possibly move there permanently.

Wonderful apatment, quiet neighborhood.

I spent two weeks at this lovely, intelligently designed apartment that was located in a really lovely neighborhood with a balcony that has just incredible views. The rooftop terrace and small gym were very nice amenities. The apt is a short walk from the Unicentro Shopping Center with a huge grocery and every type of store you can imagine. This apartment is a great value and I hope to return. Medellin is an inspirational city!

Located on a quiet residential street, but walkable to lots of shopping and services nearby. Close to nightclubs, restaurants and bars on La 33 and trendy Avenida Nutibara.
