Stargazer at Splitrock Farm & Retreat
Nestled in Splitrock Valley, offering stunning views over Fallbrook’s picturesque farmland, Stargazer offers a peaceful glamping escape in a luxury geodome equipped with a cozy queen bed. Splitrock Farm & Retreat spans 101 scenic acres with views of the Pacific horizon and Big Bear, and miles of walking and biking trails, including the Splitrock 5K. Santa Margarita River Trail Preserve, just 3 miles from the site, is one of the last free-flowing wild rivers in Southern California and was voted the #1 trail in San Diego County. This scenic, state-managed trail is home to broad water impoundments created by California golden beavers and marks the southernmost range of steelhead trout.

* Seating Area with a View – Comfortable seating area with two chairs perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying the view.
* Bar Table Top with Two Chairs
* Portable grill, dishes and utensils, french press coffee maker
* Heater - must choose the propane cannister add-on or bring own
* Two Bedside Tables
Outside:
* Outdoor Kitchen and Dishwash Station

Ben started life in small town Texas, spending most free time building forts in the desert before his family moved to Costa Mesa, CA in 1987. Ben instantly fell in love with the ocean and all the best natural features of Southern California, always at the beach, building BMX jumps in the bluffs, or camping (esp. Joshua Tree). Ben's connection with nature and outdoor recreation was rooted early.
Despite remarkable career shifts from athletics (playing and coaching) to business (MBA and consulting) to academia (PhD and professor), Ben’s connection with nature drove him to create his own recreation and wellness retreat. Vetted through traveling to 72 countries and residing on 3 continents, overlanding 2,000+ mile treks across 5 continents, Ben experienced, lived, played, fed, and meditated with amazing people in the most amazing landscapes on earth. A global search ended with finding the perfect outdoor recreation and wellness paradise a mere 20 miles as the bird flies from his childhood home.
Ben’s experiences and connections taught him to value lifelong learning, exploration, fitness of the mind, body, and spirit, outdoor recreation, and triple bottom line (people-planet-profit) sustainability. These values bleed into Splitrock Farm and Retreat through Ben’s vision and hard work, where you’ll mostly find him building forts in paradise.

14 miles from all the major stores plus wine tasting in Temecula
1 mile east of Camp Pendleton Nature Preserve to enjoy the views.
3 miles to The Santa Margarita River Trail has a large parking. It's a beautiful trail along a natural river lined with trees, and maybe you can find the locals swimming hole and tire swings where the river meets the road.
11 miles to the Santa Rosa Plateau offers miles of trails.
