The property description and photos were accurate. Communication was excellent. We had questions and they were always answered promptly. We enjoyed the spacious living area and kitchen area. We had a group of 7 adults and 4 children and never felt crowded. We had sleeping arrangements for everyone and appreciated that two of the rooms had extra sleeping spaces, bunk beds and the bottom was a double. We thought the outside area was great. It was flat by the cabin and we were able to play bags and enjoy the fire pit. The lake is easily accessible and the kids enjoyed the sandy beach and kayaks. We rented a pontoon boat and liked going out on that. The lake is on the smaller size so just be aware of that for boating. We are planning on being back next year.

Phenomenal place. Hoping to book again next year. House itself was great.Felt like it could use a dehumidifier and better utensils. Needs sharpened knives or better quality. Could have used smaller bowls several times.The location has neighbors but still has privacy and feels secluded. The wifi worked well but limited cellular service which was good for unwinding from technology for all. The host is great with responses. Loved having access to a washer and dryer for all the swimming we did. The lake is very clear and the fishing was amazing mostly for panfish. The beach would benefit from a rake for the goose droppings. We appreciated having the Kayaks provided and beach toys. We had campfires and grilled out. The bunk bed rooms felt stuffy when the rooms were closed at night. If there is a way to vent them or circulate them better that would be good.

Educational workshop

We hosted a professional/educational workshop (& retreat) here and it served our purposes perfectly. Everyone brought food to share and the kitchen worked well to prepare and serve 3 meals a day. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. Everything was clean and in good repair. There was even a lovely space to hold the classes with technology that suited us well and a cathartic view of the lake.

We chose this property for our annual siblings’ weekend, where we celebrate each other’s 60th birthdays. We enjoy spending time outdoors, so finding a place on a lake with a fire pit was important to us — and this home was a perfect fit.The location was excellent. The lake was just a short walk away, making it very convenient for ice fishing, and the fire pit located right in front of the house was ideal for relaxing together. The home itself — a spacious lower level — was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully laid out. The open-concept design made it easy for all 12 of us to gather comfortably. We loved being able to spend time together in the main space, whether we were working on puzzles, playing games, reading, or watching the Olympics. The large glass patio doors provided a wonderful view of the lake and brought in plenty of natural light.The property was very accommodating for a group our size. While sleeping arrangements may be a bit tight if you have six couples (as two of the bedrooms include a twin bed and a bunk bed with a twin on top and double on the bottom), it worked well for our group.We also appreciated the two large bathrooms, each with 2 locker-room-style showers, which made it possible for multiple people to get ready at the same time. The bathrooms are located down the hall from the main living area, offering added privacy.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

The space was large and comfortable for our family to spend quality time together playing games, relaxing and eating meals. The kids especially loved the sandy beach. If you have a larger group bring some of your own garbage bags, since we went through the couple provided quickly. Overall a great place and we plan to return next year!
