Caravelle 522 at Big Fish Rentals. This condo has great views of the ocean from the balcony! This resort is a very nice oceanfront resort and access to the ocean is direct.

Conveniently located and within steps of the beach, enjoy walks on the beach, swim in the pools! Lot of restaurants nearby. A short drive from Broadway at the Beach, Market Common, and Ripley's Aquarium. Many of the area's popular attractions, restaurants, golf courses, and shopping are a short drive away.



Getting Around:

Close to airport, taxi, uber and rental cars!



Other Things to Note:

This is a non-smoking room and NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. This is a personally owned condo and is not a hotel room. Please treat as you would your home, please be careful to not damage any property during your stay. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.



NOTE:



The garage will undergo pressure washing of the walls and floors, as well as re-striping, beginning Sunday, April 12, 2026. (Vehicle will be Towed) We anticipate the garage will be open and ready for use by lunchtime on Friday, April 17th. During this time, you may utilize the garage across the street by the lobby.

My host was a pleasure to work with. She made me feel welcome and provided prompt responses to my questions. Our room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Parking was great that provided easy access to the room. We’re looking forward to staying again!

Room was as advertised in photos and very well maintained. Beach view was absolutely beautiful. Parking can be a little hairy. It’s a parking deck with very little turn around room. We were able to park with ease when we arrived. We left for some adventures and came back to no parking available, however you won’t know that until you have arrived at the top of the garage. There is overflow parking available across the street. It’s just that turn around to get back down is a booger. Overall thoroughly happy and will most likely book again.

Our stay was fantastic the only issue was the outside rug that is in embarrassing condition. Hazard is putting it mildly. I asked host if I could roll it up for someone to discard and was told I could but to put it back before we leave. Some one is going to get hurt so I just couldn't believe poor management. So we didn't get to spend anytime outside and that is why I booked this property. We have rentals and wouldn't ever keep dangerous equipment around for anyone to get hurt. The circle couch is rusted and broken and pillows are ripped to shreds. But, we didn't let this ruin our trip. We will be back but not here.

I would like to recommend this apartment. It is truly beautiful and the view is really impressive—every detail matters. It has a very comfortable bed and the space is perfect.There was just one small detail: the room itself was clean, but the floor had quite a bit of sand, which gives a bad impression. We understand that sometimes cleaners can miss small things like this. There was a broom available, so we cleaned it ourselves.Other than that, everything was perfect, so I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Views of Ocean

This was a beautiful area in Myrtle Beach. Our favorite area was the patio. Comfortable seating on the patio with awesome views of the ocean and beach. We sat and listened to the ocean on this patio until we got too hot. It did feel a bit small but the patio made up for that.

My husband is a pool person and I am a beach person, and we were both incredibly happy with our stay. The view is exactly what is shown in the pictures, the balcony is almost the same size as the room and you can see both the sunrise and sunset. I was surprised by how large the bathroom was, the water pressure was great, and the two shower heads (one rainfall, one massaging) were just an added water feature.The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space in the room. The kitchen is nothing fancy, but we didn't need much. If you plan to cook there is both a Food Lion and a Fresh Market just up the road. There is also the New York Butcher Shop within walking distance, which offers prepared meals daily. We used the 7th floor indoor pool and hot tub, as well as the sundeck, and pretty much had them to ourselves. The main pool was large and heated and had plenty of seating. The lazy river is tiny, but a good place to nap in the sun. The pool is in the shade for most of the morning, so a nice respite from the sun, if you need it. We never did figure out where the 10-minute parking was, but you can just park on the 5th floor and have someone run to the room for the pass. Our first visit to Myrtle Beach, but we are already planning our next trip, and will surely pick this room again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Caravelle. The best feature is the large sun deck facing the ocean. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The furniture is quite large for the space and storage is limited. We had issues connecting to the wifi, it cut out every time we went out, even on the deck. The building itself is quite dated and in need of some tlc. The kitchen lacked some items - dish brush, dish cloth and only one wine glass. Overall it was a nice stay.

Fantastic room with amazing balcony

We absolutely loved this room. It was decorated in soothing but fun designs. The chairs and ottoman were SO comfortable!We enjoyed nights of uninterrupted sleep, thanks to great pillows and mattress. While we didn’t use the Murphy bed behind the stylish barn doors, it would have been perfect for children or an extra guest. We spent almost all of our time on the balcony. The furniture was so comfortable and just made for perfect nights outside watching the ocean. I can’t say enough about this room, and we have saved the information for when we return to the area. Thanks for a wonderfully relaxing vacation in total comfort.

Caravelle Resort July 2025

Our initial impression was very favorable… beautiful balcony, view, accommodations very nice. However, when we realized the AC unit was leaking, soaking the rug, and running under the floorboards, we tried to communicate immediately with provided number. An industrial fan was left in the room to dry out floor. We requested to speak with someone and directed to ONLY text and provide pictures. My husband dumped a large pan of water EVERy several hours for the duration of our stay, getting up early so as to not let the pan overflow. We dried the rug outside, walked around wet towels that provided a barrier to the leak that moved along the unit. We continued to update management and were told repeatedly “we apologize for the inconvenience”. No resolution, no ability to change units, no offer of any compensation.
