- Communication: had to reach out to the host for access. If my instructions aren’t going to be mailed out ahead of time I believe the host should reach out. While response time was quick I really don’t like being 5 min away and not knowing how I’m going to get into the apartment. I have always had hosts email out instructions through the app so this was a bit of a surprise. - Amenities: no soap in the half bath and pocket door doesn’t really shut well. Kitchen is EXTREME bare bones. If you are planning on cooking for a longer stay I would take inventory prior to planning. -Parking: Be ready to parallel park in some of the tightest spots unless you’re lucky. I got a spot outside of the apartment but was then blocked in all weekend because people parked between me and the corner literally touching my bumper. - Environmnent: everything is beautifully remodeled and very upscale. A couple of places where you can tell it was done personally and not professionally (I hope). There was two sided tape EVERYWHERE. Curtains are a trip hazard if you try to walk behind the couch. Soundproofing does not exist. You can hear EVERYTHING!! Neighbors walking up and down stairs, all of the conversations and traffic outside, and all of the movement in the house. I was in bed and heard the clash of the ice hitting the floor in the kitchen. If you are sensitive to smells the wallflowers are extremely potent. Be aware that both bedrooms are downstairs. Not listed Overall, I would stay again.
