Welcome to this cozy bunkhouse. Nestled in the serene canyon and sandstone cliffs in Molt, Montana. This charming 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom space offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure with all the amenities you may need for a relaxing stay. For equestrians, the property offers nightly horse boarding making this a rare gem for those who travel with their horses. Pack your bags and prepare to enjoy the homey charm and natural beauty of the Sheltered Nook. Make this your home base for Montana adventure. For road trippers Red Lodge is only an hour away. Red Lodge is known as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park through the scenic Beartooth Highway. Billings Logan International airport is 30 minutes away. This property is located on a cattle ranch, so we offer for sale 100% grass fed beef that guest may purchase to make their meals; availability may be limited. During the summer months guest are welcomed to harvest fresh vegetables from the garden to use in meal preparation during their stay. Availability may be limited depending on the time of year.

Super nice host-neat and tidy house that is beautifully decorated with everything you need for a comfy stay. Loved the quiet location. Will definitely stay there again! PS Decorated with Christmas cheer too.

We were traveling north to see the mountains and history. The location was secluded, pretty and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. Easy access to major restaurants, too.

Easy access; beautiful kitchen; high quality dishes, pots and pans, etc. Beautifully decorated. A two mile dirt road with paradise at the end.

Absolute perfection! The "bunkhouse" is gorgeous! The views are incredible! Communication with the owner was so easy - felt like we belonged there. Cannot imagine a better place to go to unwind. Kevin made us feel like we were home - couldn't do enough for us. We will be back!

Wonderful stay.

Check-in was easy online. Arrived at the place and Kevin greeted us. We got settled in and loved the place. Kitchen was well appointed as well as the bedroom. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and very comfortable sofa and chair in the living room. A splendid outdoor sitting area. The sheltered Nook is wonderfully set up in the country with a creek many trees and wonderful landscaping. We saw turkeys, deer and many different birds. Certainly enjoyed our time here. So close to Billings for many activities. A definite place to return to.

Beautiful setting

The place was easy to find. The whole experience was relaxing and calm. The place was clean and well set up. There is a great selection of kitchen things to make meal prep quick and easy. The bed is Super comfy as is the rest of the furniture.We would Absolutely stay again in the future! The Cat greeted us upon arrival, and we met the two dogs later the dogs were very friendly and loved attention. Best place we have stayed so far!

Amazing retreat!

This property is wonderful and the perfect retreat for visiting the area and surrounding towns. Absolutely loved the outdoor space with a large firepit, friendly animals to greet you, and a patio to enjoy the quiet and nature. They also provided plenty of firewood. I love that you can purchase fresh beef while you are there. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. They responded very quickly to all of my questions. One of the best experiences I have had in my short-term rentals over the years. Will definitely be coming back for another incredible relaxing time.

I waved a finger aroud the map and landed on Montana. Than I waved my finger around a map of Montana and landed on Molt. I could not have been more thrilled with my luck. The property is so amazing. I loved that so much of the area is untouched by developers who think destroying nature is what everyone wants. The cottage is very nice. The dogs are fun. The cat was so sweet and will happily walk you around the property. The owners are amazing. They were very welcoming and helpful. Definitely take advantage of the beef they sell. I got a steak to cook for dinner. The quality and flavor was so good. Definitely would go back.
