2 weeks of an amazing holiday

Amazing villa. Could not have wished for a better place to stay. The view of the lake when sitting in the hot tub was magnificent and will live in our memories forever. The games room had plenty of use and we would love to come back here again

A perfect holiday base

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Berkley home! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and the amazing lake view and sunsets were unforgettable. Disney is so close you can even hear the fireworks at night. The staff at the gate were always friendly, and having Walmart within walking distance was so convenient. It's also just across the road from Medieval Times, which was a great dinner show for the whole family. We used Uber to visit Disney Springs so we could enjoy a drink without worrying about driving — very reasonable fares. The price for the villa was great value, and the location couldn't be better. It's also close to Celebration Town, which is well worth a visit. We loved dining at the Colombian Restaurant there, then grabbing an ice cream and relaxing in the rocking chairs by the lake. A perfect holiday base!

Fun in the Sun

There were eight of us staying at the property. It was beautiful and very clean. We had a couple minor problems that were resolved quickly. We sat in the covered lanai every evening and enjoyed the lovely view of the pond. The pool and hot tub were used every day !! We truly enjoyed our stay !!

Perfect Family Stay at Lake Berkley

We loved our stay at this Lake Berkley villa. The lake views were gorgeous and the sunsets were absolutely stunning. Everything was within walking distance—the resort splash/water area kept the kids busy for hours, and the older kids and young adults loved playing tennis and trying their luck at fishing. Having Walmart and Chick-fil-A so close was really handy, and taxis/Ubers were cheap and easy to get. We used them for fun evenings at Disney Springs and even for a night at EPCOT so we could enjoy all the food and drinks without worrying about driving. The location was spot-on for great dining—places like LongHorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Smokey Bones, and Chili's are just minutes away, and the Celebration area with Columbia Restaurant and Charley's Steak House is a short drive. There's also plenty to do nearby, from Old Town's fun rides and shops to Gatorland's wildlife shows. This home gave us the perfect mix of relaxation, activities, and convenience—we can't wait to come back!

Nice view

We loved that the house backed onto the lake to give us a more natural setting. The beach volleyball court within walking distance was a hit. The house was clean and certainly had enough room for our group of 10. The heated pool was a plus although it wasn’t up to temperature for a couple of days. A few extra large sized pots and frying pans would be a helpful addition to the kitchen to make it easier to cook for so many people. Laundry baskets for each bedroom would also be a welcome addition. Could stay at this house again.

It was ok!

I try and write reviews that would answer my own questions when looking for somewhere to stay. So… It wasn’t particularly clean (Grimey in places particularly outside and the bathrooms & floors). However it was comfortable. The beds were comfortable and firm (subjective). The location was great and Lake Berkeley is a beautiful neighbourhood. The hot tub and lake view were great. Other things that let the place down bar the cleanliness were the cost of the pool heat is a joke so we didn’t pay it ($35 per night!!?). Based on previous reviews and the cost I expected a high 4 star standard but I felt we very much got a 3 star. It could do with a few grand spending on it, maybe a new sofa and the bathrooms tarting up. The price we paid for 2 weeks this year in April based on how many it sleeps was a moderate fair price for the size of the place, but the overall cost is very expensive for UK school holidays so we will stay elsewhere next year as I feel we can probably get better elsewhere for the price. I’d stay here again but for the right price, it wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible. Apart from a few grimey bits here and there It was ok! A 7/10. That’s as honest as I can be!

We understand that the optional pool heat may not be suitable for all guests, and we apologize if the cost seemed prohibitive. The separate charge for pool heat is due to the associated utility costs, but we appreciate your feedback on this matter. Your suggestions for improvements, such as updating the sofa and bathrooms, are duly noted, and we will take them into consideration for future enhancements to the property. We're glad to hear that you found our pricing to be fair for the size of the property, but we understand that the overall cost may be higher during UK school holidays. We'll certainly take this into account when evaluating our pricing structure. However at $15 per person, per night, we believe this is good value for money.
