Truth in advertising
To review this property I must let future tenants knowexactly what they're getting and to verify as much as possible before paying. Three main items to be aware of. There were certain requirements I was looking for and these are why I ultimately rented this apartment. Thus:First. As i was completing everything to pay for my stay I got a major shock at the end. I had two options. Pay a 59.95 damage insurance policy for my 3 day stay, or 1500.00 dollars deposit, which stated it wasn't guaranteed the deposit would be refunded. Unfortunately, for the 2 reasons I'll cover next, I had to go ahead and pay, and of course, chose the 59.95. This type of " tactics" should be shown at the beginning. After seeing the property and some of the other tenants, I didn't agree with this, but understood better. Now the two reasons I continued.Second: Most of the rentals available only had 1 bath or at best a bath and a half. This apartment listed as two bathrooms. One, was a crammed under the stairs half bath. There were several much nicer places to stay, more or less, same money, right on the beachfront if I had known about the bathrooms.Third. Supposedly this was a non-smoking apartment. When I first walked in the door, I had to immediately leave for Walmart and buy cans of Fabreze to try and kill the smoking odor. And everytime we left and returned, we'd have to spray the entire downstairs again. Again, buyer beware.
