One of the few rentals directly on Watersound Lake, Heron Cottage provides easy access to the crossover boardwalk, where you can enjoy fishing and turtle watching.
This lovely cottage boasts breathtaking lake views from its balconies and a screened-in main-level porch, providing a serene escape after a day of beach adventures or exploring the charming villages of 30A. The open floor plan, adorned with coastal décor and modern finishes, creates an inviting space for families and friends to gather and relax.
The main living area features comfortable furnishings and direct access to a spacious screened veranda, complete with a built-in gas grill, outdoor seating, and a dining table for eight. The master suite on the main level includes a king-sized bed, a luxurious en-suite bath with double vanities, a soaking tub, and a separate shower, plus access to the veranda. The upper level offers three additional bedrooms with private bathrooms, covered porch access and a cozy loft area, ensuring ample space for everyone.

Many of the communities along 30A are continuing to expand, so many more individuals can come enjoy the crystal blue waters of the Panhandle. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is construction and all the items that come along with it, such as noise, roadblocks, etc. We understand this can be inconvenient for our guests, which is why we have chosen to make all possible guests aware of the possibility of this during their beach vacation. As this is outside of 30A Cottage's realm of control, we are not able to offer discounts/compensation for any noise complaints, road blockades, etc. during a guest's stay. Please reach out to a team member with any questions you may have!

Heron Cottage has designated parking for up to 3 guest vehicles. Two in the driveway and one in front of the garage. Vehicles are not allowed in the garage.
Watersound also has public on-street parking throughout the community for overflow vehicles; parking is on a first come, first served basis and passes must be displayed at all times.
Reservation/Booking Policy
***The cancellation policy and terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement emailed to you at confirmation override any terms and policies from a third party booking site such. We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancellation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancellation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancellations.

~ PUBLISHED RATES DO NOT INCLUDE TAX AND FEES
~ 50% of the total cost is due at the time of booking
~ Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date (Or in full at booking if arriving within 60 days)
~ Except for a 5% cancellation fee, the initial 50% payment is fully refundable if cancellations are given more than 60 days prior to the arrival date
~ Optional travel insurance plans are available to our guests; some restrictions and timelines apply. Ask for details when booking. Insurance must be purchased BEFORE the final payment or at the time the reservation is paid in full.
~ CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 4:00 P.M. (CST) & CHECK-OUT IS BY 10:00 A.M.
~ Tenant must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age and will be an occupant of the Premises during the entire Rental Period. Reservations shall not be made by or for any person under the age of twenty-five (25), and no key will be issued to anyone who is not twenty-five (25) years of age.
