"Elk Spring"- Dog-friendly w/ HOT TUB and fenced backyard oasis!

Welcome to “Elk Spring”, a family and dog friendly home in the heart of the Rocky Mountains! Aptly named for the natural spring in the front yard, elk and other species frequently stop by for a drink. (License #3343).

Conveniently located near Highway 7, the house is minutes to Lake Estes, Estes Park Community Center, Estes Park fairgrounds, downtown, and so much more.

Modern conveniences, incorporated with the cozy charm of an older cottage, create a warm and inviting interior. The whole family can enjoy time together in the open concept entertainment area. The living room boasts comfortable seating, smart TV and Blu-ray player, electric fireplace, toys, and board games. With quartz counters and stainless-steel appliances, the updated kitchen has been fully stocked with everything needed to cook at home. Enjoy your meals in the adjacent dining area, with a large table that can comfortably seat 8. Admire views of the natural surroundings from one of several outdoor areas. Stay warm by the gas fire pit or cook up a meal on the gas grill on the back patio, all while watching the children play in the private back yard.

After a long day of adventures, you will be ready to enjoy a comfortable night’s rest in one of three bedrooms. Located closest to the living area, Bedroom 3 is the coziest of the bedrooms with a queen bed. Located down the hall, past the laundry area and full bathroom, is Bedroom 2. As the largest bedroom, this room is furnished with a king bed, twin daybed with trundle, and a smart TV with Blu-ray player. Bedroom 2 is ideal for a couple with children or teens. Furthest from the living area, the primary suite is a secluded escape from the rest of the house. Enjoy watching TV from the comfort of the king bed with the warm ambiance of an electric fireplace. French doors open to the back patio, providing easy access to the hot tub. The private ensuite bathroom has double sinks, stand up shower, and walk-in closet. All beds have been outfitted with cotton sheets and covers, along with quality pillows. Each bedroom closet is equipped with clothes storage, hangers, a fan, blankets, and extra pillows.

The house has many family-friendly amenities to entertain the youngest members of the group. Small children will enjoy the playset in the back yard, while teens will like shooting hoops. The garage game room has been converted into an additional entertainment area, perfect for teens and young adults. The room includes a ping pong table, foosball table, board games, seating area, and TV. (Note: The garage is not accessible from inside the house. A step stone path leads from the front door to the garage door. This space is not conditioned.)

- Complimentary coffee station with coffee pods, sugar, sugar alternative, and creamers provided
- Full laundry facilities: detergents, iron, and ironing board are provided
- Gas grill with cooking utensils
- Infant equipment and toys; including a Pack-n-Play and bouncer.
- Toddler/ young child equipment and toys; including a highchair, step stool, toilet training seat, and age-appropriate toys and books. The kitchen is stocked with child-friendly plates, bowls, cups, and flatware.
- Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and make-up remover wipes provided in both bathrooms.
- Small appliances in the kitchen, including a toaster, slow cooker, and blender/ food processor
- Large cooler for outings

Want to bring your dogs along on vacation? No problem! Elk Spring is dog friendly, with no restrictions on breeds.

Specifics regarding dogs:
- Up to 5 dogs allowed (more may be considered on a case by case basis).
- All guests will be required to pay an additional dog fee of $30 per dog per night, as well as agree to specific house rules. The fee will be collected separately from your booking reservation payment.
- Failure to disclose bringing a dog(s) prior to arrival will result in an additional flat fee of $200 on top of the nightly dog fees.

Other Notes:
- The home is not equipped with air conditioning, which is common in most Estes Park lodgings and vacation rentals.
- The cleaners do their best to remove dog hair from furniture and linens between each stay. Even so, given the high number of groups who bring dogs there may be the occasional remnant hair left behind.
- Elk and other animals commonly congregate in the grassy area next to the house. It is illegal in Colorado to approach or feed wildlife. Please admire all wildlife from inside the house or patio/yard areas.
- Please be respectful of the neighbors by staying within the property lines (as indicated on the map provided on the fridge) and fully respecting the Estes Park STRICT QUIET HOURS from 10PM - 8AM
