Big Horn Vacation Home: Sleeps up to 6 people.

[EP ID 3495] A quiet retreat only 3 blocks from downtown Estes Park, Big Horn is the perfect mountain home. Equipped with all major appliances, washer and dryer, wood burning fireplace and full kitchen provide comfort and space for family and friends.

Recently added Private Hot Tub! Located indoors for ultimate relaxation! Hot tub room is also equipped with a child safety lock on the room door.

3 bedroom, 2 bath. Master Suite equipped with one King size bed, full bath, flat screen HD TV and DVD player. 2 bedrooms equipped with a Queen size bed in each.

Large full kitchen with a snack bar & dinette set, equipped with a full size stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, blender and toaster.

Living area has Queen sofa sleeper, recliner, air conditioner, built in wood burning fireplace, (Dura Flame logs only), flat screen HD TV and DVD player.

We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, 3 laundry pods , and 1/day dishwasher pods during your stay.

Dog friendly, pet fee per night applies.

Fenced backyard. Must walk outside from front door of property to back of property for gate access.

This home offers access to the lodge’s community amenities including the indoor pool & hot tub. You’ll be just 1.5 miles from resort-style relaxation.

It was a lovely property! As we are a family of cooks it was nice to have a well appointed kitchen with the space to be able to cook! Our grandson throughly enjoyed the hot tub! It was a quiet neighborhood and very enjoyable! An Elk even joined us on Sunday afternoon. Being Pet friendly was a double bonus.

Great Getaway Right in Town!

Had a wonderful Stay and loved how its only a minute from The Stanley and short Walk to town! Very conveniently located for a long weekend stay.

Everything was great! Pictures did the rental justice. Especially liked the inside hot tub. The only small thing was the HVAC system. The first day there was below freezing while the last couple of days the weather was in the mid to high 60s. We had to use the heat for night one and AC for the last couple of days. The front side of the house was really cold/hot (pending the days)while the back side of the house was very hot/cold. Seemed as if there may have been an issue with the duct work. Everything was manageable with the fireplace or an extra blanket at night. Plenty of cooking utensils provided. Very nice welcome packet on the table for us was a nice touch. Location was great as well. Would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean! Plenty of room for our family of 4 (it would accommodate more comfortably if sharing beds). A few minor requests were addressed right away by management by. Location is perfect for RMNP and activities in Estes Park. We’d stay again and would recommend this booking!

Great house close to downtown Estes Park

The house is perfect for a group wanting to stay close to downtown Estes Park. Large kitchen and living room area and the walk to downtown was only 3 blocks. Would stay here again.

Great place for a long family weekend

Location is easy walking distance to downtown Estes park. House is well stocked w/ comfortable furniture and enough utensils/pans in kitchen to actually cook full meals. Great VRBO stay compared to the average.

Family getaway

Last time in Estes we stayed in a cabin outside of town, which was great, but it was nice to be able to explore downtown without having to fight for parking. Being just 2 blocks from downtown Estes was a great experience for us.

Great house in perfect location

Great 3 bedroom house, nicely decorated with all the supplies needed to enjoy your stay! Located close to downtown so you can walk, which is great since parking downtown is challanging!

We shall return!

Location was great! Indoor hot tub was a huge plus. It was a simple short drive to the Rocky Mountain national Park. A short drive to Estes downtown. They even had the option of the hotel, hot tub and pool. Host made many great recommendations that we tried and it was a total win! We traveled with our kids 2,10,12, &14

Great location, homey stay

We loved this place - the location is perfect: easy walk to downtown, 5 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, close to restaurants, shops, hikes. The home has so many sweet and adorable details - movies, games, "swan towels" and more. Super comfy beds, big TV, lots of room everywhere, huge kitchen. Next time we return to Estes, we'll stay again!

Great location and roomy home

Very clean and well maintained home. Enjoyed the welcome basket. Able to walk downtown easily but the hill is steep on the way back. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of towels were available. Dog friendly and the fenced yard was helpful.

Excellent Location!

This property exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and the welcome treats were a nice surprise.The backyard was perfect for the pups. I was traveling with 2 teenagers and they loved having their own rooms and especially loved the hot tub! The location is excellent! Very close to Main Street, but tucked in enough to not hear road noise. We loved it and would definitely book it again!

Pat and Melynn Murphy are transforming Estes Park resort property with an energetic and infectious spirit. In 2011 they purchased a rundown resort; re-named it Murphy’s River Lodge and renovated the property into one of Estes Park’s most popular lodgings.
In May, 2013 they acquired a second property and Murphy’s Resort is rapidly becoming a full service resort with pools, playgrounds, hot-tubs, affordable lodging, and six vacation homes.

Manager Stephanie Bledsoe leads the staff at Murphy's River Lodge. The entire staff is service based and anxious to insure that guests are properly welcomed to the Rocky Mountains and that their stay is memorable.
