Not as expected

Please review house rules before booking. They are almost insulting if you have booked with Vrbo. They go as far to say no "body fluids" on their fine sheets which felt like canvas and were speckled with black dots. They also list a nominal dollar amount if rules aren't followed for every little thing. Quoted directly from their listing."- Excess garbage or house excessively messy there will be a 250 charge for cleaning.- No smoking anywhere on the property.- There will be a 300 fine is we find any cigarette butts on the property or the house smells of smoke. This includes Marijuana. We have neighbors who EXTREMELY sensitive to this, so we will be informed of any of the above items immediately.- We use very nice sheets for your comfort in the beds, and if any rips, tears, bodily fluids, stains, etc. are found after your stay, the maids will send evidence and we will be fining an additional 100 per sheet that is ruined." I contacted property manager requesting partial refund due to the uncleanliness of the property; like the dirt on walls, dripping counter top, dirty sheets. Of course that was denied. I have never listed a bad review, but don't want others to be mislead on this property, especially since it is listed as "Pristine", and in the nice neighborhood of Birmingham was anything but "Pristine".
