Lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Sitting on the front porch on the swings, under the ceiling fans, looking out at the river, was just idyllic.

We loved our stay at the River Cottage. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing with a lovely view of the patio. The place is off the main road but only a few miles from restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Great location by the river. Hosts left us a thoughtful goodie basket. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch swing. Lots of beautiful places to explore in the area. Would definitely stay there again.

We could not have dreamed of a better place to unplug, relax, and enjoy the peace. The house had amazing energy the moment you walk in. The hosts are extremely thoughtful with the accommodations, and had everything you needed. It’s in a great location for a variety of hiking, the surrounding area is charming, and the hosts are easy to communicate with. Don’t hesitate booking this place, we’d come back here in a heartbeat.

We loved this home! It is in a location perfect for the Harley riding we wanted to with it being within an hour or two of so many natural attractions. Good food nearby. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is perfect. If you are looking for night life, not so much. Everyone in the area is so friendly and there's a great little park just 3 minutes away with a river to walk by and walking paths and park for kids.
