**Other things to note**

**Construction Notice**
Nosara is a growing community, and construction may occur near the property, including ongoing work on the main road. We have adjusted our rates accordingly. While we have no control over these projects, we want to ensure you are informed before booking. Please reach out if you have any concerns.

**Security**
Nosara is a wonderful and welcoming community. However, as in many tourist destinations, petty theft can occur. We encourage guests to secure their valuables and use the provided security features. A property manager can arrange for a night guard at an additional cost. Guests are responsible for securing personal belongings when leaving the property.

**Internet & Electricity**
Being in the jungle, utilities can sometimes be unpredictable. Power, phone, and internet outages may occur. We recommend avoiding charging electronics during rainstorms. While we have a strong mobile signal with Kolbi and affordable data rates, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted internet service. Refunds or discounts will not be issued for service disruptions beyond our control.

**Water Supply**
During the dry season (December – April), there may be periods of low water pressure or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to inform guests of any interruptions in advance.

**Jungle Wildlife**
Despite routine fumigation, it’s common to encounter insects such as ants, beetles, and spiders, especially during the rainy season (May – November). To minimize unwanted visitors, keep food stored properly, clean surfaces, and keep screen doors closed at night.

**Refund Policy**
No refunds will be issued for natural disasters, water or internet outages, security concerns, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. Nosara is rapidly growing, and we cannot guarantee there will be no construction in the area.

**Travel Insurance**
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other disruptions that may affect your trip.
