**Galleon House is a Government Approved Rental Property**

Galleon House is one of the premier luxury properties in Antigua. Located on Galleon Beach, English Harbour, the house has incredible views of the bay and a beautiful idyllic beach, perfect for swimming.

What really sets this house apart is the privacy it offers, not just the main house, but to each guest suite. Galleon House is divided into a main house, a Primary Bedroom Suite and 3 guest suites, all with private access. Primary Suite has a King bed all other rooms can be made up as one King bed or 2 Singles.
- Main House (2 Living Rooms, Kitchen, Large covered Deck, Day Bathroom, Guest Room with en-suite bathroom)
- Primary Bedroom Suite (with en-suite bathroom)
- Guesthouse 1 (Guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom)
- Guesthouse 2 (2 separate guest bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms)
Other features include: Private Swimming pool, Huge living area, Multiple outside dining and seating areas. A/C in every room, High-Speed WIFI, Multiple TVs with Cable and DVD players, 6-day/week maid service.

House is Certified cleaned according to all COVID protocols.Taxes and fees: 17% Antigua Government Tax is added to the nightly rate (as shown in your total). And once your total number of guests are confirmed, the Tourist Tax ($5 per guest per day) is collected at check-in or can be added to your total here.

Please note there are several stray cats present at the property, which occasionally enter the main house when doors are left open.

a very good stay

nice location, clean and well maintained. need to plan for grocery shopping. no need to rent a car as plenty of taxis.

Perfect stay

Beautiful house, beach, location. We can’t wait to go back! The only complaint, no hot water in the 2 back suite showers.

Super accommodations in a great location

this house was perfect for our group celebrating my daughters college graduation. The individual casita's were perfect sleeping arrangments. The pool was great and right on Galleon Beach with great outdoor seating areas. Would highly recommend to a large group. Visiting in summer was no problem, as the AC worked great and there was always a breeze outside.

Great house in a great location!

The house setup was just what we were looking for with our group. The hosts communication leading up to the visit was great, Keisha was at the house everyday taking good care of the many buildings and cleaning up, and Tyson did a great job cleaning the pool, grill and taking care of the landscaping. Great location! I told my kids everyday - "we have an aquarium in front of our house to snorkel in".

Loved it.

Exactly as described on VRBO...the house is lovely and perfectly located! Really beautiful spot and excellent house setup. The only thing we'd recommend is some attention regarding kitchen equipment. Spatulas, working bottle opener, frying pans etc could use an update. Many thanks!

Excellent location and relaxing vacation

We had a great time at the house. It's set up where everyone has their own suite with bathroom so you can have a crowd but also your own space as needed. The view from the deck is fantastic and the living room and kitchen areas are spacious. The beach is just down the driveway and we saw a couple ship wrecks and huge sea turtles while snorkeling just a few hundred yards away from the house. It is also conveniently located near a lot of English Harbor restaurants but far enough away to be more quiet and secluded. We had Patsy (a local chef) come cook for us in the house one night and her food was fantastic. Overall excellent house, super clean, a housekeeper came every day and even washed all our clothes and cleaned and put away the dishes daily. Excellent choice.

Perfect!

Galleon House is a lovely Villa if you want to enjoy a relaxing peaceful break. We arrived exhausted after a long journey and were greeted by the charming Anna who couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. She gave us a tour of the spacious property and showed us where our pre-ordered foods and drinks had been stored in the beautiful modern kitchen. Having owned our own home in the Caribbean for over 12 years, we were immensely impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property and the superb condition in which it has been maintained; no mean feat to keep things up together when you are by the sea in the Caribbean. The house looked to have been recently decorated inside and out, and every thing that we needed had been supplied. There was a daily maid service, Sherri was very efficient and kept the house beautifully clean and even offered to do our laundry for us during our time. We will definitely be returning to this extremely private little slice of paradise, nestling just above the quiet and inviting Galleon Beach with its tranquil calm waters. Paradise found

Absolute Paradise

This house was everything the listing promised and much more! The house was lovely, beautifully kept and furnished, super comfortable and in the best location you could imagine. Galleon Bay was the perfect place to snorkel and swim with the Pillars of Hercules right around the corner that provided excellent scuba diving. Sitting on the deck looking out over the trees to the beautiful bay full of stunning sailboats and listening to the birds with your morning coffee was heavenly. The pool was a nice size so you could really swim - not just a plunge pool. Sherry and Keisha kept the house spotless and even did our laundry. We were so spoiled by the whole experience. We had Patsy, the private chef recommended by the manager, come and cook us several dinners which were unbelievably delicious. Such fresh ingredients prepared beautifully! I really can't say enough good things about the house and the whole experience of staying there. We were there with our 2 sons, daughter in law and 2 teenage grandchildren - 7 in all and we had lots of room to spread out. There was lots to do in the area - English Harbor was 10 minutes away with restaurants and a grocery store. There's an excellent beach bar and restaurant just a 3 minute walk from the house. We absolutely loved every minute of our time there!

Paradise in Antigua

If you are looking for a beautiful but reasonable vacation home, Galleon House is a must! We just spent a week there and I must say, it is our favorite Caribbean vacation ever. We have a group of friends. Every year we visit an island and we have seen them all! Antigua offers, great food, nice people and a comfortable feel. Add those qualities to the Galleon House experience and you have a great combination. Sherri is the maid, and insisted on doing everything from cleaning and washing our laundry, to making the beds and doing the dishes daily. She quickly became part of our group! Craig the gardener also became family and even brought his son over one night for us to meet. I am usually a hotel guy but thought I would give, renting a house a chance. I am so glad we did because the experience from start to finish was effortless! We all agreed we will go back soon and I highly recommend this property! Oh, and the location and views from this home are amazing. Beach...pool...giant deck...air conditioning..WiFi... It has it all!!

Paradise found!

When you find a place like Galleon House, you never want to leave. Located on one of the coziest beaches in Antigua, swimming and enjoying the splendors of the country take front and center. The house itself is a beautiful property with plenty of privacy and a wonderful pool that gathered my family together many times each day. It's carefully cleaned and thoughtfully looked after. Lane and Anna went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of including purchasing a mixer so my mom could make our wedding cake, immediate assistance when a bedroom key broke and flexibility when our flight was cancelled. Shout out to the awesome gardener, Craig, who helped find beautiful flowers and branches for my wedding decor! My best tip from Lane was to hire chef Patsy to cook a special meal for us at the house. Patsy is a phenomenal chef who grows her own organic lentils and produce. She dazzled us with a complex and delicious meal that included many more dishes than we paid for and ended with a fab mango tart tatin. It felt very special to have that time together with family celebrating over wonderful food and in a magical place. Do not miss the Patsy experience. Hope to be back sometime soon!

Fantastic! Galleon House was the perfect place to stay in Antigua.

Galleon House is the reason our vacation was perfect. We lost a day of our vacation due to a poorly run airline but the second we arrived we knew immediately we had found the perfect vacation accommodation for our family of eight. We were greeted by Sherri the maid and were shown around the property which is in impeccable shape. The amenities of this home offer everything - space for togetherness and space for alone time. The house is ideally located overlooking the beach and the bay ( fun to watch the big boats arrive and glide into English Harbour)and close to several hiking trails. Sherri spoiled us with clean beach towels daily, doing our laundry and washing the dishes we had not gotten to. This house is equipped with every need, two refrigerators, gas stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer, two living room areas great for playing games or watching the big television, there is a large selection of books to read, Wi-Fi works well and the gas grill outside was great for our Christmas meal. All rooms are air conditioned or fans can be used. Everything is clean, maintained well and immaculate. We have travelled the Caribbean for years and this is definitely a place we would come back to. It’s located so close to a wonderful grocery store and many fantastic restaurants. We had a hard time leaving these wonderful accomadations to explore the island but would highly recommend Half Moon Bay.

Magical stay

Beautiful house, great location. Family get together from 8th to 17th June. Age ranges 5 months to 88!. We had an amazing holiday. The house lends itself to large family's. The house is spotless. Daily lady (called Cherie) a true delight. The laundry queen! PLEASE thank her from us all. The terrace over looking Galleon Bay was truly magical. I suffered a bit of jet lag and getting up at 4am the first few days was lovely watching the sunrise. A few tips. Dinner at The Inn, just a stroll along the beach or water taxi to Brasserie d' Antigua. Our favourite restaurant in English harbour was Colibri. Cloggy's was good too. Sea breeze for breakfast is a must. Titi car rental was fab (they collect you from the airport and cars are delivered to the house. Fenella Goldsworthy for private chef services was also fab. ( she cooked for us on first night. A highlight was "Catch the Cat" yacht charter. Highly recommended. To sum up. A fantastic house in a wonderful location. Great service and very affordable. Thank you to Anna, Cherie and the lovely smiling gardener! We will return. X

Paradise found

Galleon House is a lovely Villa and made for a fantastic vacation and a relaxing, peaceful break. We arrived after a long journey and were greeted by the charming Anna who couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. She gave us a tour of the spacious property and had prestocked the beautiful kitchen with some items (coffee, milk, snacks, cheese, fruit, butter, a bottle of local rum!). The amenities of this home offer everything - space for getting together and space for alone time (important when you have 5 teenagers!). The beach was just a few yards away and it had a wonderful beach bar called Loose Cannon, which we frequented. There was a daily maid service, Sherri and her daughter were super friendly and kept the house beautifully clean. We always had plenty of clean beach pool towels and they also did our laundry during our time, which was hugely helpful. We wanted to hire a coal chef for a few breakfasts and dinners, and Lane suggested chef Patsy. Patsy is an incredible chef uses local ingredients and incorporated items baked and cooked by friends of hers into our meals. The food was dazzling with a lot of local flare. Her friend’s homemade sorre jam with the johnny cakes were a favorite. And her deserts, OMG!! Mango cheesecake and chocolate tarte, to die for!! We could have stayed here all week, but there was lots to explore on the island. We would highly recommend Half Moon Bay beach and Darkwood beach. We will definitely be returning to this private paradise!
