Welcome to Peaceful Waters Retreat, centrally located just 1 hour from Austin and 2 hours from Houston.

Located on 53 acres, these lakefront buildings feature natural earthblock construction, keeping the spaces naturally cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.

Families: We have additional family-friendly amenities we can set for you, including ping pong, games & toys for all ages, arcade game, and even a bounce house. Just ask!

Facilities & amenities included with Retreat Center rental:

RETREAT CENTER (9,500 ft²)
- 8 BR 8 Bath - 20 beds + 6 sleeper sofas
- Meeting/yoga room (1100 ft²)
- Dining + kitchen room seats 40+ (1200 ft²)
- Heated in-ground pool with volleyball and pool toys (must request heating ahead of time)
- Family friendly amenities available: Ping pong, arcade game, kids toys, board games, and even a bounce house!
- 8 person hot tub
- Firepit for cozy evenings and s’mores
- Spacious patio with grill (smoker available upon request)

GROUNDS
- 53 acres
- Private 5 acre lake w/SUPs, canoe, and row boat
- Catch and release fishing allowed
- Hiking/biking trails

FARM & WILDLIFE
- Abundant wildlife, including deer, heron, frogs, wild turkeys, and playful otter families
- Book a tour to visit the farm animals: Bunnies, goats, chickens, and longhorn cows!

Our 53-acre ranch is surrounded by nature’s beauty, which includes wildlife that may warrant caution. Any countryside stay like ours requires good sense and some basic wildlife knowledge. If needed, more information is available upon booking.

PRIVACY:
You will have complete, private access to all 53 acres of the ranch and its facilities.

Please note, our property includes a 1/4 acre farm and small ranch. While our staff will be out and about tending to their business, we will respect your privacy.

Quiet time is 10PM to 8AM.

We regularly treat and maintain our buildings to minimize intrusion of bugs and other pests. However, when you're in the TX countryside pests are not 100% preventable. We cannot offer refunds due to bugs or other pests.

We offer a couple of optional add-ons to make your stay even more fun:

- Bounce House – Available during your stay for a $75 flat fee (Please note: If it’s too windy we may not be able to set it up for safety reasons. If this is the case, we would refund any fees already paid.)
- Heated Pool – We can heat the pool for a $75 flat fee as well.
