Enjoy our peaceful vacation home located in Estrella Mountain Valley community. Relax in the back yard and watch the golfers play though the 11th hole on Arizona's #7 ranked public golf course.

The professionally landscaped backyard boasts a heated swimming pool, a chipping and putting green, and a professional misting system surrounding the semi-enclosed patio furnished for outdoor eating.

In the evenings, take advantage of the built-in BBQ with serving counter which flows into a comfortable seating area in front of an outdoor gas fireplace.

Inside, the 3000 sq. ft. home is all one level and offers four bedrooms with two queen beds, one king bed and one double bed (with child bunk on top). A fully furnished kitchen with a large island will allow for easy meal preparation and a convenient wine fridge will keep your refreshments cool. The kitchen is furnished with top of the line S/S appliances including a gas cook-top, built in wall oven, convection/microwave oven, dishwasher and large refrigerator with ice-maker and water dispenser.

Pool Heating (during winter months) is optional for a nightly rate (please contact owner for rate)

Great stay, we will be back

We really enjoyed our stay at the Iris. The house is just like the pictures, the backyard was awesome. We golfed all day and then spent the evenings outside on the patio. The home backs up to the golf course, but the we rarely saw the golfers. The home was very clean and maintained. And, there was a complete notebook describing how everything worked in home. We will be back...as soon as there is another opening!

A slice of Heaven

This was above and beyond what I was expecting when booking this beautiful house. It was absolutly amazing, had everything you could think of to enjoy a wondrful week without ever having to leave th house. We were dreading the end of our week and having to return to reality. But we will be back for sure again. The owners were awesome to work with , very very nice people nothing but great things to say about them.

Fabulous house!

We stayed at this home with the amazing back yard over President's weekend. The weather was spectacular and we enjoyed the heated pool and putting green almost every day. The golf course was one of the best my husband and son have ever played. I really liked the walking path around the lake at Estrella that was just a few minutes drive away. The Safeway which was 5 minutes from the house was very convenient, easy to find and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen at the house was well stocked with all we needed to prepare meals. The house itself was very spacious. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely home in the suburbs

The home is gorgeous. Beautiful layout and great for family gatherings. The check in process was very easy. However, a few days before we did get a email letting us know that there were a few things we needed to be aware of that either didn't work or wasn't in the properties book of instructions. Nothing that was a deal breaker but for example we were told the umbrellas were very fragile and to basically use with care. In 100° weather you want to be able to use the umbrellas. We did end up reluctantly using one but we were very very careful. The property itself was a lot of fun too. It was great to have so many amenities in the backyard. However when we first got there there was a dead mouse in the pool and it didn't look like anything had been landscaped in a while. Piles of leaves and blossoms that had fallen off of shrubs in the corners. Everything was covered in a layer dust. It's a little frustrating when we were sweeping and cleaning the first day but we soon learned about the dust storms and wind that happened in the evening and now understand that it would be difficult to keep the patio clean on a daily basis. Overall, we had a great experience and a great time. We will definitely be back again.

Very glad that you enjoyed your time there and hope to come back. We are sorry about the wording of the umbrellas. Yes the are fragile, but we also anticipate full use of them. We are looking into getting more resilient ones for the weather. It was unfortunate about the dead mouse. Unfortunately in that environment small critters constantly drop and drown into the pool on a very regular basis. Although the pool is serviced twice a week, sometimes a critter will drown before the crew can come back to remove it. It sounds as if this was the case as the crew had been over several days prior to your visit. It is one of the unfortunate realities of the desert. Another unfortunate reality is the sudden wind and dust storms. We endeavour to get our landscaping done each month and after each visitor stay we have the property cleaned on the outside (as well as inside). However the situation can change quickly with the weather. Hopefully when you come back we will have new umbrellas (the desert heat is very hard on them) and hopefully it will not be after a dust storm.

Unbelievable Value

This gorgeous four bedroom home will transport you to a relaxing and magical place. The home is immaculately decorated and spacious. The bedrooms are welcoming with plenty of space and light. We stayed at this home with nine people and never once felt like we were in each other's way. The kitchen is a chef's dream with a massive family room attached and all the amenities you have at home and perhaps even more. There is a huge dining/ living room area where you can have leisurely meals with friends and family. I haven't even mentioned the backyard yet. There is an entire living space in the back yard with retractible awnings, a large table, heated pool and fireplace. For golfers and children of all ages there is a putting green. Don't be surprised if a roadrunner comes to visit while you are enjoying the sun. My husband loved the built in BBQ area which is perfect for making lunch or dinner. Behind the property is a golf course with many other golf courses in the immediate vicinity. We enjoyed horseback riding and hiking in the local park with incredible vistas and lovely staff. Our 20 and 17 year old daughters loved going to Scottsdale to shop, and we took a trip to the Grand Canyon which is only a 5 hour drive. (Driving through Sedona is a surreal invigorating experience.) You can't go wrong with this amazing property. The sun shines every day. Your hosts are incredible! They take pride in ownership and are attentive to the operation of the property and your happiness. We can't wait to go back again!

Everything you need and more! Amazing home and backyard!

We just returned from one of the best vacation weeks. We always use VRBO and have always been very pleased with our rentals. This home was well beyond our expectations! The pictures on the website are amazing already but in person it is even more amazing. The home is just simply incredible - there was not one thing we were missing and the Moore's have made sure even the finest little detail has been taken care of. There is so much their home offers that is well beyond the standards. We had much fun in the backyard. From the pool to putting green there were hours of fun to the late night conversations around the fire pit. The neighborhood is very quiet and the landscape is breathtaking. We were very sad that the week went by so fast and our time was over at "The Iris". We look forward to book again and enjoying this home again. One tip we would recommend is go to the house before you hit the grocery store to see what is there already. We were amazed with the 'extra' items we didn't need to buy and it appears between the Moore's and previous guests that each group leaves a little of their extra stuff behind (spices, lotion, soda, maybe even a beer or two!) We enjoyed not feeling like we were wasting items we didn't use or were not fully used and happy to leave them for the next guests arriving after our departure. Again, thank you Moore Family for sharing your home with our family. From booking through departure you took care of us completely and were always on top of everything. You made the process very easy and communicated with us every step of the way. The home manual, booking tools and apps were wonderful and a nice touch to have everything in one place. Loved the app for our smartphones.

Outstanding!

We spent a wonderful, memorable month of March with family & friends at The Iris. The home is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Although we were at spring baseball games most days, we will all remember relaxing in the backyard and having great conversations around the fireplace. The morning was also a special time to enjoy the backyard - we even had roadrunners walking on top of the wall. The owners were extremely responsive to any questions we had. The Iris exceeded our expectations!

Fantastic House and Friendly Owner

We stay in the Phoenix area several times a year using VRBO or HomeAway, and I will say this house is at the top of the list. The house was large and spacious, very clean, and well-managed. It's a VERY nice house! My kids loved swimming in the pool. The putting green was fun, and the outside fireplace made for a nice environment to sit around in the evenings. The neighborhood was very safe and we took walks or runs in the evenings. A grocery store was conveniently located just a few miles away, which we used almost daily. Additionally, the owner was very helpful, responsive, and friendly. I can tell he cares a lot for his house, but I also felt he cared for us and wanted us to have an enjoyable stay, which we did. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else!

Fabulous home with gorgeous backyard!

We just left our 6 night stay in Phoenix and wish we could have stayed longer! The house is one of the best we've rented (and we've rented quite a few). It is spacious, well maintained and furnished. It has everything you could need! It's so nice to stay at a house that feels like a home when you walk in. And we didn't need to buy little things, like paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent etc. It seems that the folks who rent pay it forward by leaving behind useful items they weren't taking with them, like coffee k-cups, ketchup, etc. There were also plenty of beach towels. The backyard was amazing. We loved the pool, putting green and fireplace! The house is an easy drive to Camelback Ranch where we enjoyed watching the White Sox play. The owner was great... easy to work with, offered advice or recommendations if we needed them. Responded to our questions right away. Can't say enough about this house! It was fantastic and we'd absolutely stay again!

The " Iris" is a beautiful home inside and out.

Our group had a great experience at the Iris. There was an abundance of towels, extra pillows and linens and everything you might need in the kitchen . Estrella golf course is wonderful as is nearby Tres Rios. We loved gathering around the outdoor fireplace and reviewing our eventful days! Great home base for golf, spring training, Grand Canyon trip and Sedona. Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful Desert Retreat

Couples get away

This place is amazing! My wife and I stayed here with three other couples (8 people in total). The house was spacious enough that you never felt cramped. We were able to really put the gourmet kitchen to use as it was fully stocked with everything you need...including tons of spices! The back yard is heavenly...sunset views that last an hour! The Outdoor fireplace was our favourite place for an evening night cap. The world class golf course is only a 2 minute drive...needless to say, the guys took advantage of that!

We loved every moment of our stay at this house in Estrella. It was beautifully clean and the grounds manicured. We spent all day long in the heated pool. We golfed Troon and the Estrella course the house backs on to. Both exceptional. There were many spices and condiments to use and the Safeway was close for all of our groceries. The outdoor BBQ is where we did most of our dinners. Lovely to have a warming drawer in the kitchen to keep the bread warm while the steaks cooked. We've recommended this to our friends and family. It is as good as it gets!

Golf Vacation

This was our second stay at the Iris. We were reminded of how beautiful and spacious this home is, inside and out. The ladies enjoyed the heated pool while the guys spent a lot of our time on the golf course. Already thinking about next year. Thanks so much.

Beautiful Relaxing Spot

We stayed for a week over the Christmas holidays. It was such a beautiful spot for our family to relax. We enjoyed the heated pool and the putting green was a bonus. We had plenty of space and then some for the 6 of us (and a baby). We were within 25 minutes to hockey and football and around 30 to downtown Phoenix. The owner was friendly and helpful and made himself available for any questions or concerns we had. Thanks for making our holidays!!

Sunny Christmas Getaway

We loved the house! Lots of space for the whole family. The pool was warm, the putting green kept us entertained, and it was beautiful to sit by the fire pit and watch the sun set. We were close to the hockey and football arena and only about 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend the house! Only wish we could have stayed longer!! Thank you!

Serenity Plus!

Our first experience renting through VRBO and it couldn't have been better. We picked the absolute perfect rental property in the Iris. Location was ideal and the house was beautiful inside and out, missing the master suite and back yard layout already! The owner was very gracious and helpful before, during and after our stay. Stunning property!

Incredible property and amazing surroundings! Thanks to my Aunt and Uncle for allowing us to use this property for our 1st trip together - we had an absolute blast and can't wait to return! The backyard/pool/patio area will without a doubt be a hit for everyone! We highly recommend staying at the iris if you get the chance - I'm sure you won't be disappointed! The sunsets are awesome too :) 5/5 all the way around!

We did not buy his house with the initial intent to rent; we purchased the house as a second home and maybe one day a retirement house. Therefore we have put a lot of effort into making it a home rather than just a house.

When we were searching, many recommendations pointed to Estrella and we fell in love with the peaceful community when we first visited. When we saw this property, we knew right then and there that this was the house for us.

Located in a quiet gated community, we were drawn to the backyard which overlooks the Golf Club of Estrella and sports beautiful sunsets. The layout of the house and the views just seem to evaporate stress. The backyard sports a heated pool, an outdoor fireplace, and a small practice chipping and putting green.
