Coverly house was everything that one can ask for away from home. The villa was clean and beautifully designed. We truly enjoyed our stay and my grandson enjoyed the pool. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity for leaving breakfast items for us. We also enjoy some mangoes from the tree, hope we did not overstep our boundaries. We will definitely book your villa again and introduce it to others. Thanks again.

Will definitely be back!!

Rebecca was amazing. Communication was excellent before, during and after our stay. She was nice enough to get my father's favorite local dish and leave it for him upon arrival. Harriet was incredibly friendly. She greeted is upon arrival answered all of our questions and was just a phone call away. They house was a amazing, very well kept, as pictured and my daughter loved the bin full of toys. The pool was clean with lots of pool toys. We all enjoyed our trip and we'll definitely be back.

I have never booked a place that has so many detailed amenities. I felt as if i was staying at a hotel that was basically my house. The dispensers in the bathrooms i wish i read it in the description cause i packed our own. The chargers in each room were also a nice touch. I couldnt stop telling my family down there that this place was so amazing. We will definitely be staying again here in the future. My kids loved the pool loved their room they were so sad to be leaving even saying “ we wish this was our home” i commend the owners of this house!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. Becky and Harriet were exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. They thought of everything from beach towels and water containers to games and books to keep us entertained. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the property manager and gave us a run down on the property. We were also delighted to find a booklet detailing all the activities available and overjoyed finding a welcome pack. You can't imagine how great it feels after a long flight to not have to worry about groceries until the next day. The guestbook and family diary added a warm, personal touch. The location is ideal, close to the airport, highway, and just a short drive from town, offering the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. The housekeeper was always available to address any concerns, and the pool was cleaned twice a week. I’d rate it 9/10! The two minor issues, which are beyond the hosts’ control, are the mosquitoes (come prepared!) and the difficulty booking due to high demand—this place is booked a year in advance, which speaks to its quality! We’d love to return.

Comfortable and Inviting

A very inviting home, beautifully designed with high ceilings and an open layout. The pool area was well laid out. The chaise lounges were especially comfortable for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The hosts and property manager, Harriet were always available as needed and Becky was kind enough to extend our stay for a couple hours on day of checkout.

Perfect family getaway!

Such a well kept and beautiful property for a family vacation. The hosts were great to deal with and were sure to help with anything we needed. Harriet the property manager was so pleasant and greeted us upon arrival. She even checked in regularly to make sure all was good. If you are looking for an awesome spot to call home while you are in Barbados I would not hesitate to book here.

Highly Recommended Villa

Easy access from airport, property felt secure and safe. All facilities as highlighted online. The Villa was in a good location and easily accessible to key areas such as Oistins, St Lawrence Gap etc. House keeper (Harriett) is extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions about the property or local area, and also does a good job at keeping the property clean and tidy.

Great stay in a great villa

We were 2 families of 4 staying for a full week in July 2024. The villa was exactly as described and highly met our expectations. The villa was clean and Harriett was so kind offering assistance all week. The only downside (if any) is the location. Being close to the airport is very convenient and planes didn’t bother us at all. However, please note a car rental is highly recommended as Coverley is not so close of main activities. This being said, we would still rent this villa on a next trip.

Perfect place to stay

Coverley House exceeded all our expectations of a vacation home to stay at. Thanks to Harriet the housekeeper the home was absolutely spotless. There was ample room for our family to spread out with the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The pool was well maintained and such a wonderful way to escape the heat. We enjoyed opening the doors and windows when we were there to take advantage of the breeze, the area is safe and better yet no bugs! Becky the owner was helpful and provided excellent and clear instructions about the home and additional information about Barbados. While it is possible to take the bus or taxi from the home it is ideal to have a car rental. Barbados is also very expensive, so bringing a few extra items like snacks, laundry pods and toilet paper is recommended. Overall, it is a 10/10 and would love to go again someday.

To say we loved this house and island is an understatement. Coverly is a fabulous home from home. Immaculate, very well equipped and with the most gorgeous pool and gardens. We have had such a wonderful holiday there. Becky has been so incredibly helpful especially on the run up to our holiday and ensured we have had everything we needed. Harriet has been a wonderful bright and friendly face for us too and has been a joy to meet. The house is so excellently located and we have loved the freedom of being able to explore the island but also having long lazy days by the pool! Lovely villa

The villa at Coverley is perfect. The villa is supplied with everything you need, even small details are thought to make you feel at home. We really appreciated basics supplied in the kitchen like sugar, flour, etc. Beds are very comfortable, lots of linen, towels and beach towels. Great pool cleaned twice a week. The only thing we missed war a dryer. It did rain a lot and when we washed clothes took forever to dry. Very quiet neighbourhood, friendly neighbours. Becky is very generous with her time, always ready to help you, very responsible. The house is well maintained, you can feel that the owners love it, and we love it also. Thank you Becky

The Perfect Villa

Firstly, our villa was absolutely fantastic and it was just a short ride from the airport. There are not enough words to describe the joy we all experienced at the most beautiful of homes. We loved the design, the spaciousness both inside and outside, which was well proportioned. We experienced the monkeys in the trees behind the house with their cheeky antics, and the use of the pool and gazebo. Harriett was superb, and we appreciated her contacting us throughout our stay to ensure everything was all right. Very charming personality! I cannot say enough about the villa, but it is certainly one to recommend to friends coming to Barbados. It was our first time in Barbados and it did not disappoint. We trust we left Coverley House in good order as we made every effort to treat it as our home away from home. Errol & Family

Return visit

This was our second visit , and even more impressed this time. As usual , Harriett, the housekeeper , was there to meet us on arrival. Everything you may require is at the property including a welcome food pack, which is ample to carry you over for a day. The villa is located in a cul- de -sac, with the buses being a 5 min walk away. A car is helpful though for getting out and about. Lovely private pool at rear of property, very refreshing a sight seeing. If you have a car, and need shopping , Massys stores are pretty good, although the petrol [gas ] station down the road , stock quite a few things. The owners are very quick to reply to enquiries , and once there , Harriett is only a phone call away, and very knowledgeable with regard to Barbados. Overall, a lovely time spent at Coverley.

Back to Bbdos 2023

The house was lovely. The walk up to the front door was spectacular. The entry way was spacious, lots of room for lots of shoes and flip flops, bags for the beach. The rest of the house had wonderful cross breezes. We rarely used the air conditioner, occasionally at night. And then the yard - lush, well maintained and beautiful. The pool was a major hit, most especially with the children. We went mostly to Pebbles beach although it was considerably further than Miami/Enterprise, it was calmer and very little weed, very beautiful. We visited family in Bbdos, hit some of the major spots eg. Oistins Fish BBQ, St. Nicholas Abby, Speightstown, St Lucy, East Coast, Roundhouse, etc. Coverley House was a lovely home away from home, very comfortable. Becky was quick to answer any questions and Harriett was great, friendly, helpful, delightful. It’s very close to the airport so there’s jet and plane noise. Didn’t bother us though. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend Coverley House.

AMAZING

What an amazing stay we had at Coverley House. The villa was exactly as described and was perfect. As soon as we stepped through the door we felt at home. Rebecca's communication prior to our trip was great, so responsive and helpful. The villa was spotless and Harriet was there waiting for us when we arrived and was very friendly. The welcome pack was a really nice touch. Honestly, if you are looking for a spacious, clean, fabulous place to stay then this is the one for you!! We hired a car for our two week stay because we wanted the ease of getting out and about to explore the island. However, it is definitely not needed as there are plenty of ZRs and buses running at the bottom of the road (less than a 3 minute walk). There are also plenty of shops just down the road. It is approximately a 5 minute drive to the airport but you are not disturbed by any noise from the plane. In fact we only heard one plane during the day the whole time we were there. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet (a cute little cul-de-sac setting) with friendly neighbours. The villa has absolutely everything you could think of and need to enjoy your stay. I am already missing waking up and sitting out on the porch by the pool first thing in the morning. We will definitely book Coverley again when we are able to return to the island. Thank you to Rebecca and her family for allowing us to spend time at this amazing property. It truly made our holiday a memorable one.

Lovely Villa

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Coverley House! Beautiful, spacious villa. As other guests have said, the kitchen is well stocked with cooking needs. Plenty of small coolers to take to the beach. Loved the beach bag on the back of the closet door in the master. Definitely used it! Very safe neighborhood, and very quiet. We opened the front door and back patio doors to let a nice cross breeze through. It can get quite toasty, if not. We did not have any issues with bugs or wildlife entering the villa. Becky is a wonderful host! Very responsive to questions, left a very nice welcome package of food/drinks to get you started. Sends you a packet of very good information on the villa as well as tons of recommendations on beaches, things to do and restaurants. That was extremely helpful, and accurate! Home is very clean and beds are very comfortable. Air conditioning in the bedrooms works very well. Harriett is a blessing! Just a beautiful lady inside and out! Do not hesitate in renting this Villa! Make sure to venture all over the Island! So many things to see and do. We literally went all along both the East Coast and West Coast as well as up to North Pointe. Visited many beaches and restaurants. Thank you again for a beautiful stay at your Villa! Everything you could possibly need!

I generally believe that advertisements for holiday rentals will always be presented as better than what they really are. In this case, the complete opposite was true. From the moment of booking, Becky will make sure to do everything within her power to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. She is extremely friendly and responsive, and enormously helpful to make sure everything will fit your needs. I chose this place because we wanted a private pool to enjoy our first holiday with a baby, without having to be constantly on the move. It is the perfect place for couples, larger families or a small family like ours. Plenty of baby stuff at the house, such as a high chair, an audio monitor, a cot/play pen saved us from having to bring some large items while traveling. Becky will make sure to help prevent as much hassle as possible and we were provided with great information on what to keep in mind, recommendations etc. The house is very close to the airport, but we only rarely heard any plane noises. Harriet was there to welcome us in a wonderfully clean, spacious and beautiful house that really does feel like a home away from home, with fresh sheets on the beds and soft towels in the bathrooms. As much as I anticipated not having hotel-like service at a rental, we really did get that feeling. Harriet is extremely friendly and really was available whenever we needed her for sometimes the tiniest things. The pool was amazing, and allowed us to stay in and enjoy our time at the villa (with both sun and shade options throughout the day) which we alternated with some beach visits. We've been pleasantly surprised by the sight of monkeys, hummingbirds and fireflies in the garden. We ended up renting a car for two days to see more the island, which to us was enough, as most beaches are close enough to go by taxi. Our privacy was respected and all our potential needs were anticipated. I would love to give helpful feedback to make it an even better experience for future guests, but I honestly cannot, as our expectations were beyond exceeded. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Coverley House was everything we could have hoped for in our family trip to Barbados! Becky was fantastic from the beginning with making sure we understood everything with the booking before we arrived & the house itself was equipped with more than we needed!Location was great, we did have a rental car to get around.The swimming pool was fantastic, we used it everyday - it was such a blessing to be able to cool off when needed! The pool guys made sure it was kept fresh & clean!And last but by no means least - Harriett the housekeeper was incredible. She was so friendly & welcoming when we arrived & made sure we knew we could contact her if we needed anything at all.We will definitely be staying again for our next visit to Barbados! Thank you so much!!

Passend zum Rest der Insel - Wundervoll!

Wir haben 2 Wochen in dieser Unterkunft verbringen dürfen und können nur positives berichten. Das Haus ist schön und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Alles ist wie beschrieben und besser, sodass wir nichts negatives sagen können. Hariett ist immer verfügbar und hilft wo sie kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

First time staying at the Coverly house and this place is really beautiful.

First time staying at the Coverly house and this place is really beautiful. Words or Pictures can not explain the beauty of this property. Harriet was a really nice and friendly host check on us to make sure everything is okay. Also the owner is wonderful and understanding of family’s needs. Will try to stay here every visit to Barbados as long as it’s not already booked and will recommend others to stay here when I’m not traveling.

As original renters of this property we love how clean and private the villa and yard area is. The villa is equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. It is a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, including Crane beach rated the 3rd best beach in the world! We always feel so safe there as well when touring about. Whether you like heading out to explore the island each day or taking some much needed relaxation in the peacefulness, calm and private-ness of the villa, we are sure you will have a great vacation!

The villa is completely stocked for a great vacation! Guests continually comment on how well outfitted it is and how little they need to pack when coming. Its no wonder guests return year after year! Beautifully situated in a quiet neighborhood its a peaceful retreat but not far from anything.
We have a fantastic team who takes care of the villa. Harriett our property manager gets rave reviews from all the guests on her amazing care over them and her cheerful smile, returning guests are always excited to reconnect with her. Andre and Felicia and their team do a flawless job looking after the pool, gardens and any repairs. We are blessed to get to work with them as a vacation team!
