Located at the end of Georgetown Island this open floor plan with wrap-around windows and deck offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Kennebec River. The sequin bedroom has a full-sized bed. The Popham bedroom has a twin with a trundle and the master upstairs has a California king bed.

We loved the Topsider. It’s a beautiful place to stay. One of us even enjoyed all the exercise from going up and down the many stairs. The thing that would prevent us from returning is how much time we had to spend traveling to restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and laundromat, Carrie and Paul are excellent hosts and have a lovely vacation spot.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Topsider! The cottage was incredibly well-equipped, clean, and comfortable; we enjoyed family game time, cooking our own lobsters and fish on the grill, and enjoying beautiful sunsets and views from the deck. We loved the beach we could walk to, and great location to enjoy our Georgetown favorites and other nearby activities. We look forward to returning and creating more family memories at Topsider!

Second year back … and we have already booked for summer 2027. The Topsider is a hidden gem … the views, location, amenities - all so wonderful. Carrie and Paul are wonderful hosts! Worth every step! Lol

This was our 2nd stay in this home and it will continue to be the only home we rent when staying in midcoast area of Maine. Our trip was nothing short of amazing! The house is centrally located to all our favorite towns and restaurants. Carrie & Paul have done a fantastic job of restoring this home and we love the charm of the history it holds for their family, hopefully for generations to come. We're thankful they've chosen to share it with guests. They are excellent hosts and set the bar super high for other hosts. Welcome gifts upon arrival, excellent communication throughout the trip and clean, superb accommodations. The house is perched high on the hill for the absolute best views. Nothing beats the early morning sunrises and late night sunsets. The kitchen has got everything you can possibly need to make meals at home. There are plenty of games/activities for family fun. There is plenty of porch seating for watching the tide roll in & out and also for watching meteor showers at night. All of the bedding and linens are fresh and comfortable. Do not waste time booking this rental! You will NOT regret staying here! We are aleady looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect place for a respite!

Wonderful location with welcoming hosts? The house is cozy and invites relaxation. The views are spectacular. Even the location was perfect, and we took short trips up and down midcoast Maine.

The views were outstanding! We have been coming to the Georgetown area for years and love the area! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor decks were wonderful for watching sunsets after busy days at the various beaches in the area. Carrie was a great communicator and very accommodating! 2nd visit was as good as the first!

Beautiful house and location

We had a wonderful week. The property and area were great for relaxing and having fun at the house and local area. The house was one of the best stocked places we have ever stayed in and the air conditioning was wonderful luxury during our August stay.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at the Topsider! The view from the property is spectacular, and the wraparound porch is just perfect for relaxing. The property is in a great location, and Carrie and Paul have provided everything at the house you might possibly need! We can’t wait to come back!

Tranquility

Our stay was wonderful. It was our second time in the cottage and we had a lovely time. The view were perfect, the cottage is comfortable and the weather was perfectly Maine. We will be planning our fall vacation soon.

Our family has rented a number of places over the years & this was one of the very best. Clean, comfortable, functional, well stocked. We even made a list of the good things about it & we exceeded the number of steps, tee hee. Beautiful vacation spot!

We loved our stay at the Topsider! A really special property in Georgetown with amazing views. The house was cozy and while the stairs are steep the payoff is worth it! We loved the little beach and all of the small details. Thank you!

Stairway to a Haven

This was our 4th visit to Topsider. It is always a joy to be there, enjoying the views and comfortable furnishings. It is perfect location for day tripping to Bath, Boothbay, and Freeport. But best part is always coming back.
