owners - pay attention

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a tough week for us. The beds provided did not match the description (3 queens were advertised, when it the house had 2 queens), One of the queens was not usable and the mattress had to be replaced, the house was not well-cleaned upon arrival, green plastic covered the porch railing and had disintegrated into pieces along the entrance to the house, the branches on trees were overgrown - causing early morning activity from squirrels on the roof, etc... The management company sent the cleaners back to the house and arranged for the mattress to be replaced on our 3rd day - it would have been good if they had noticed that the beds were incorrectly represented on the house description and arranged for some kind of compensation.

Hi Amy, We understand the importance of accurate descriptions and assure you that we are taking steps to ensure such discrepancies are addressed in the future. We also apologize for the issues with cleanliness and maintenance that you experienced upon arrival. This does not reflect the standard of service that we strive to provide. We want to assure you that once we were made aware of these issues, we took immediate action. Our management team promptly arranged for the cleaning crew to revisit the property to address any cleanliness concerns. Additionally, the homeowner responded swiftly to your discomfort with the mattress, replacing it with a new memory foam mattress to ensure your comfort. We're committed to improving our processes to prevent similar situations in the future. We appreciate your suggestion about compensation and will take this into consideration as we assess our policies. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're grateful for the opportunity to make things right. We want to ensure that each guest has a positive and comfortable experience at our vacation home. We hope that you might consider staying with us again in the future, so we can provide you with the experience you deserve.-DM
