Girls’ Trip

This location was less than 10 minutes from the Ark Encounter. It was very comfortable, cozy and super clean. The atmosphere was safe and peaceful. Everything we needed was supplied. If we could give 10 stars, we would.

Great home for multiple people

Highly recommend this cute home in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. The house was clean, well decorated and stocked for all our needs. Everything looks and feels new. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids and was a short drive to the Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum. We walked around the neighborhood and felt perfectly safe and “at home.” It was also a short drive to Newport and Cincinnati. The host was super sweet and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Pristine, Quaint Home That’s Perfect for Your Ark/Creation Museum Trip!!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Redwood Retreat Home. Upon arrival, we were please to find an immaculate home in wonderful condition. It’s conveniently located as soon as you turn into the quiet neighborhood. Every detail was thought of by the hosts. Cozy blankets and games in the living room, all of the amenities to make it feel like home, comfortable clean bedding and mattresses, spotless bathrooms and a laundry room with complimentary detergent (which came in so handy for us to wash a small load before leaving for the second part of our trip.) Every detail was thought of, down to the outlet plugs (perfect if you were visiting with a very small child). The yard was beautifully landscaped and the deck space and backyard area was perfect for us and our children to enjoy! The home is conveniently located to the Ark Encounter and only a short drive to The Creation Museum. It’s also in close proximity to the cutest downtown areas with local restaurants and ice cream shops. It’s also worth noting that it’s less than a mile away from a Walmart/fast foods restaurants (which is so convenient) while still feeling secluded and rural. We loved every minute and will definitely stay in this exact location again when we visit this area of Kentucky in the future! We truly can’t say enough good things about it!

Home away from Home

A wonderful stay, in a beautifully renovated home. This host did not miss a thing. Luggage racks in each room. Space to tuck items away. Kitchen was fabulous. Easy layout with all needed items. One of our reasons for renting homes, is our diet requires prepping and cooking. This kitchen was incredibly easy to use. Coffee bar came stocked with coffee, tea, and snacks. So nice!! Thanks so much!

Redwood Retreat is owned by Dave & Michelle Schimpff and Gabe & Erica Nalley. We are a group of friends that enjoy traveling together but at the end of our trips we enjoy returning home to a beautiful part of the country.
