Welcome to Moosefire Cabin, a peaceful mountain retreat tucked deep among the pines of Island Park, Idaho. Just 35 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and only one block from the Henry`s Fork River, this modern mountain escape offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Spend your days exploring Yellowstone, fishing, hiking, or riding nearby ATV trails, then return to soak in the private hot tub, relax by the wood-burning fireplace, and enjoy the true cabin-in-the-woods experience. If you`re looking for the perfect mix of adventure and cozy seclusion, this is it!

The Space

Moosefire Cabin is a spacious two-level retreat designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. Surrounded by towering pine trees, this home offers privacy, comfort, and authentic mountain charm while remaining close to everything Island Park has to offer.

Inside, you`ll find large open living spaces, warm wood finishes, and handcrafted details throughout, including beautiful live-edge wood countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. A stunning wood-burning fireplace anchors the main living area, while the loft-style upper level overlooks the living room, creating an open, airy atmosphere filled with natural light.

Perfect place for our Yellowstone trip

Such a great location for our family, there were five of us and we all had plenty of room! The location to get to Yellowstone was nice and plenty of places for gas and food as well.

A very nice cabin in a great location. Plenty of room for my entire family of eight. The kitchen has everything you'll need for preparing and cooking. Exceptionally clean and maintained. Will definitely stay here again

Definitely 5 star rating. Great cabin, perfect location, quiet neighborhood, easy check in/out. If you have a trailer, the parking area is huge. 7 minutes to Ponds Lodge and you can get there via trails.

Spacious Cabin with everything we needed for our stay. We were surprised to find so many extra’s in the kitchen it was like being at home! You really do treat your guests well. Plenty of seating and end tables in the bedrooms which was greatly appreciated.We highly recommend this Cabin. The host checked in on us throughout our stay which was great too!

Everything was in working order and the host was very kind. The house was clean and prepared for guests. My family loved the hot tub, and the heaters in each room. We liked the room temp diversity options. Very quiet neighborhood and right next to the snowmobile trails.

We had a family of nine- six adults and three kids, ages 10, 12 & 16. This cabin has the perfect setup for three family groups, allowing for privacy and separation for sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. We enjoyed our days in Yellowstone NP and our evenings together here over dinners together. It was the best setup we have ever experienced for our family summer vacation. I would highly recommend it for families who are looking for a clean, special place to stay, that includes quiet outdoors and easy access to Yellowstone. We would definitely come back.
