Welcome to San Carlos 1108, a spacious beachfront condo located in Gulf Shores, AL. This unit offers breathtaking views of the white sandy beaches from your private balcony, accessible through large sliding glass doors from the living area.

With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this unit comfortably sleeps 6 guests. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private balcony access, while the guest bedroom also offers a king bed. A queen sofa bed is available in the living room for additional sleeping space. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV for your entertainment.

The fully appointed kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and entertain, making this the perfect spot to enjoy your Gulf Shores vacation.

CLEAN BED PROMISE
Every Linen, Every Time: Liquid Life washes every linen for every guest. Every linen means every towel, every sheet, every quilt, and every pillow sham – every time. Inside our commercial laundry care facility, all linens are washed in our high-heat (150 degrees) commercial washers with our select, EPA-approved detergents to ensure complete sanitation. Liquid Life also follows specialized procedures to contain soiled linens and protect clean linens for every guest.

Great family house.

Great location, easy, short access to both the bay and ocean. Close, short walking distance to Belmont park. Highly recommend this house. Nice ro have 2 designated parking spots.

We had a great time!

Great location, HORRIBLE beds

First off, you really can’t beat the location . Walking distance to the beach, and a volleyball player’s dream with all the courts near by. Pretty decent coffee shops a short walk away and the pier about a 15 minute walk as well. However, the beds are AWFULS. Multiple people in my party woke up with stiff necks and achy bodies. One of the beds basically has a 8 inch dip right in the middle and it’s literally impossible to sleep if you’re a front sleeper. Wish they would get new beds.

Perfect Location

Great location, great space with plenty of room for a family and a great and well appointed kitchen. Less than half a mile to Belmont Park and either the bay to the east or the beach to the west. Very quiet aside from the air traffic noise from the airport, but that is to be expected in the area. Very lovely place and will definitely return.

Excellence location

Excellent location! Half a block to the bay and approximately one long block to the ocean. This house is within walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. Large kitchen with plenty or room to sit. Comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. The neighbors were quiet and we enjoyed having a cup of coffee on the patio.

I write this review having just left San Diego, California just a few days ago. Your beach house is one of the best ones I have stayed at! The location was remarkable - only a few minutes from Mission Bay Beach and the Pacific Ocean and just a short walk to Belmont Park. There were many shops/restaurants which were just a short walk. The beach house was beautiful, well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of linens. The beach house had two balconies, one of which was covered, and the other one was large and in the shade in the late afternoon (I rented the top floor unit). We were provided two parking spaces which were great! They were small but we had small vehicles which were perfect. It had everything that was needed or wanted for a wonderful beach vacation! There was airplane noise but I don’t think you could stay in this area and not hear some noise. We will be coming back to San Diego and hope to stay in this beach house again!

Great location, nice and clean, comfortable Small easy fixes needed but overall the place was great and enjoyable. Kitchen well equipped (but may need salt/pepper. Had blender and electric tea kettle and coffee maker were great adds. We really had more good things to say than bad. Parking was tight for a full size truck but do-able! Easy walk to beach, coffee and taco stand nearby. Great time had-thank you! Fix it notes: ceiling fan light in first bedroom not working well creating strobe effect. Fan in 2nd bedroom very noisy. Freezer had small issue closing-creating some frost and bathroom toilet paper holder broken. Master patio door hinges need to be screwed down more so door opens easier.

We enjoyed our stay!

We traveled to San Diego with our family of five and overall had a wonderful stay. The condo is really cute and super close to the beach and was a short driving distance to all of the attractions we wanted to visit. The door to the patio off of the master bedroom was stuck, we reached out to the rental company who said they would come check it out but never did. The master bathroom water pressure leaves something to be desired and note for future guests I wish we’d figured out sooner, the second bathroom temperature is in reverse. Turn to cold for hot! And the toilet paper holder was missing, not an issue, I just don’t want to be held responsible for it. The kitchen was really nice and while we didn’t cook seemed well equipped. The neighborhood is walkable and quiet, and again, that access to the beach, so great!

The property is cute . In need of work on the walls. Couldn't access back deck of MB padlocked from the outside and hot water very slow in MB if at all but does have a 2cd shower .

Capistrano Haven

Great clean location and furnishings! BUT we discovered we didn’t have any hot water so we had to text the mgmnt company Friday. They finally came out to change the hot water heater on Saturday morning but then it only seemed to fix the problem in one of the two bathrooms so we did not have hot water in the kitchen or 2nd bathroom. Then no response after asking for additional help. That was disappointing.

Special Weekend in San Diego

The property was 5 stars all around. Location to beach and bay was perfect. Added parking behind the unit was great. We definitely felt a beach vibe with the decor. There were two things we couldn’t figure out: how to open the door to the master balcony and get hot water in the first shower. Perhaps it was us but we missed out on those two items. Thank you for making the experience great.

Apartment is top floor, good location

The apartment is a second floor. There is a porch off the master, but the door did not open, so it was inaccessible. The space was clean. Rug in living space needs replacing. Kitchen is well stocked. Parking spot is challenging to get into. Location is excellent, accessible to all areas of San Diego.

Great location but house not clean

The location for this house is perfect. Two minute walk to the beach and bay. Unfortunately, it was not clean in areas. When we arrived there was a strong musty smell in the house. We opened all windows to air it out and left for a few hours. The next morning when I went to make coffee the grounds were left in the coffee pot and were all moldy. Probably why the house smelt. The view on the listing show the nice view out the patio window of the deck and palm trees. This view was not so nice since the windows had a thin layer of dirt on them. After showering there was water on the floor so I wiped it up. The white towel was now dirty. Clearly the floors were not washed. I took pictures of the areas and sent them to the local team. They offered to come have the house cleaned. It was Christmas Eve day. I did not want them cleaning around us, it was family time. It was simpler for me to do it. We pay a cleaning fee so I asked for some to be returned since it wasn't as clean as it should be. The local team said no. I have rented from Vacasa before and everything was perfect. I wish I had the same feeling for this location. I have never given a bad review, it is not my way. However this time the situation warranted it!

Wonderful stay!

The home gets 5 stars from me and we were happy staying here, HOWEVER the listing info pictures are not accurate!! Vacasa needs to fix this- some bedrooms and living spaces shown in pictures are not in this unit! It is an upstairs only unit, and the yard area shown in pictures belongs to the downstairs unit so it shouldn’t be shown in this listing. I thought when booking it that it was much larger than it actually was due to the photos. Upstairs level of house only, 4 beds total (3 bedrooms), no bunkbeds, and one sitting area with one couch- not two. Listing errors aside- house location was so nice, super close to the bay and a short walk to the Ocean. Clean and comfortable! Very simple & reasonable check out requirements. Appreciated the nice assortment of beach items like chairs and volleyballs! Fyi- parking is great as long as you don’t have a large vehicle. Our car fit easily but our Toyota Tundra could not- parking space size would’ve worked, but it’s the narrow alley/ access that prevents maneuvering into the spaces. No fault to the house and actually if you have small-midsize vehicles I thought having two spaces was super nice, especially for the mission beach area. Very happy with the home, the cleanliness, and the location!
