We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy, clean and quiet cabin! The cabin was very comfortable (comfy beds!) and well-appointed with a well stocked kitchen, charming rustic décor, and a fantastic view of the forest! Despite the summer heat, the A/C unit and fans throughout the cabin kept us comfortable. A few of the instructions that were emailed by the host need to be updated (directions, WiFi password, check-out info), but we were able to figure everything out so it was not a big deal. The host, Lien, was gracious and made herself available if we had any questions. I would definitely recommend staying in this quaint, rustic cabin. We spent time in both Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake, with the cabin being perfectly situated between the two destinations!

The Cabin was so cute and comfy. The kitchen had everything you need cook. Nice touch it had spices plastic baggies and foil all great for cooking. Wifi was great for streaming movies and there were lots of DVD to choose from there were games to play and the bedrooms had plenty of blanket in case its cold . Fireplace was amazing ! The Lien was very good about communication. We cant wait til we stay there again ! AAA

Very nice cabin with one of the best views big bear as to offer.

A great get away experience and the morning view was breathe taking. The owner was very responsive and so accommodating. Would definitely come back again.

Lien was a very helpful, considerate and kind host! The property was very cozy and particularly family friendly. We had all the utensils we needed plus some very helpful, basic cooking needs (oil, salt, spices). Towels and bedsheets were comfortable and smelled so nice! The beds hugged you to sleep. Games in the evening by the fireplace were awesome. If you are looking for a warm and cozy family and/or friends get together we lost definitely recommend booking this beautiful place!

Cozy Cabin

Cute cabin with a view of the forest. It had everything we needed. Hot coffee to get us going in the morning, and a crackling fireplace to come home to after a day on the slopes. Plus, we could bring our dog. Can't ask for anything more.

Clean and cozy

I was very impressed with Lien's cabin. It was so clean and cozy with everything you'd have in your own home. My family enjoyed it so much that we never left the cabin. The wonderful view of nature right from the living room was amazing. We will definitely be going back. Thanks Lien!

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for. It is in a quiet neighborhood, it has a wonderful view and it was a comfortable place to just "hang out". If you're looking for the Big Bear experience, or what it's become, this isn't it. It is not a place to party, but a place to relax because there really isn't anything else around (at least not in the summer), so it was perfect for us. A couple notable pluses, though there were many:- The view with your morning coffee on the porch is the best experience. I'd go just to sit out there the entire weekend.-The AC kept up with the heat wave. The bedrooms being basically in the basement was a plus because they stayed even cooler. -The porch had a cushioned seat that was kept under a cover so it was comfortable and clean, not what you'd usually find at rentals.-The cabinets had all the spices and oil you'd need and it was fresh. Coffee maker was also great because you could make a pot or do pods. -The furniture was leather and there was no carpet (just rugs) which made it feel cleaner. -The bathroom is updated.-There is a back door outside from the bedroom areas so you don't have to go upstairs to get outside.-Internet worked surprisingly well. We had no issues streaming.-Cabin was very clean. -Host Lien was very communicative.I would recommend some drawers in the bedrooms and a smaller pan for a couple of eggs. Other than that this place left nothing to be desired. It was great!

Nice cabin with good view!

This is a very nice cabin! So many cabins in this area are so dark and outdated but this felt open with the big windows / doors out to the upper deck with a nice view of the forest. Not too much light so you can see the stars! My wife and I were visiting for a bike race at Rim Nordic, less than 10 minutes from the cabin. We walked to Blondie’s for a nice dinner and with Running Springs having a Mexican and Pizza restaurant, we were happy we didn’t have to deal with crowds of Big Bear. The house was well stocked and furnished and Lien was quick to respond to my questions. We recommend this cabin and plan to return.

Spectacular views and cozy home - perfect getaway!!

My sister and I enjoyed our recent stay over Thanksgiving weekend at your cabin. We LOVED our time there! We had her two furry kids and they also loved the cabin – especially the new enlarged deck where they could look out over the forest (or the dog next door which they were fascinated with)! Your new upgrades – new deck, fresh paint and new windows – were great. Everything feels fresh but still has the feeling of a comfortable home. It was quite cold while we were there, so we really enjoyed having a fire going during the evenings. As everyone else states, Lien has provided everything you need. The views are spectacular, and you really get the feeling of being away from it all when you’re at the cabin.

A good winter rental ... not so much for summer

The cabin was clean and homey, with one small standing fan. It was ninety degrees and the neighbors were complaining of the heat. The only way you could get air moving around was by opening the two sliders, or going out on the small deck. There were no screens on either sliders or windows ... mosquitos inside and out! By the second night it was miserable and therefore I got no sleep, mainly due to over 30 mosquito bites. Got up real early next morning and left.

Relaxing and peaceful place to stay

We loved our stay here. It was exactly what I was looking for. It is a very quiet area. We went on 4th of July weekend. I needed a quite place since my dog doesn’t do well with all the fireworks in my neighborhood. I was really impressed with the kitchen. It had everything we needed to cook. Pots, pans, utensils and even spices and oils. I was really impressed by the coffee selection. I am a huge fan of coffee, and this really made me happy. Loved that there were games to play and a nice selection of movies on DVD’s I really felt like the owners wanted your stay to be comfortable . There were extra blankets and fans. Overall best VRBO experience yet! The only downside was the steep stairs to the bedrooms. Probably not a problem for most people. We took our 2 small dogs and one of them has a knee problem, so she had to be carried downstairs. Would defiantly bring a baby gate next time so we didn’t have to worry. Overall it was a wonderful stay! Thank you so much!!❤️

I’m going to start with the good and work my way to the not so good. First, the owner if very responsive and she is very kind and does want her guests to have a good experience. Second, the cabin is much more homey than the pictures portray. I wasn’t quite sure it would be as it looks a bit crowded in the pictures to me, but it was very nice and pleasant and if you stay here, it will be the same for you. It has whole house heater, and a high-end portable air conditioner, as well as an air purifier. They also have a K-cup duo, which should definitely be in the description because it is nice to know it is there; and have some welcoming K-cups to use, which was nice. The beds were comfortable with warm flannel sheets and extra blankets. The host didn’t ask for much on checkout, making it easy. The view is great, the house is great, and the owner is great. Now the not so good… We arrived after a storm, the owner said the driveway would be cleared, but it was not, and the only shovel provided was broken. The closest parking is a 15 minute walk down the hill and the plow will bury or block your car. The CO detectors were beeping and she said someone would come by to change the batteries, but no one did, so we did and found that they were beeping because they were expired. The shower only got up to about 99F, not enough to soothe cold muscles but ok for short showers. Overall, it is a nice cabin, but I would not stay here in the snow again. Maybe we will try it out in the summer…

My husband and I had a great time in Arrowbear celebrating our anniversary. The cabin was perfect. Cozy and private. The view from the deck is lovely and a great spot to relax. We had everything we needed and look forward to returning.

Amazing place to celebrate the joy of the season!

We booked this lovely cabin as a group Christmas gift. Us adults enjoyed cooking delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen and the kids had a blast in the beautiful (and within view from the balcony) out of doors. Would definitely stay again. Bring chains even if you drive an appropriate vehicle- the angle of the driveway paired with icy conditions can prove difficult.

mountain retreat

Spacious house with deck looking out at trees and forest. Quiet. Bedrooms are down steep stairs and bathroom is upstairs so requires caution for folks who use the bathroom in the middle of the night, but plenty of lighting available. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need!

Cute cabin perfect for getaway

It is a nice quiet cabin located on almost the end of the development area. This gives the cabin beautiful view from the deck.

We have owned this lovely cabin since 2014. Andy and Lien are our names and we have been coming with our dog Jemma every weekend to enjoyed its beauty.
We remodeled the entire home ourselves with some help from friends.
We truly love the cabin and cozy environment it provides us.

Our cabin is located in small quaint community, the deck looks out to national forest valley, it's serene and quiet. In summer, we can take a short walk or hike or cycle up to Keller Peak and climb up to see the look out of Running Springs valley.
In winter, we can play on sled in the backyard of forest valley.
We're 5 miles away from Snow Valley and Snow Drift, 7 miles away from Arrowhead and 3 miles from Santa Villages with full winter attractions and 17 miles from Big Bear with full attractions of summer and winter sports.
